Now what's really cool about this box is that it's got a very durable ABS plastic construction to it.It's going to be impact-resistant and UV-resistant, so it will protect all the items you have in there. So today 2019 Cadillac XT5, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Skybox Low Rooftop Cargo Box. I've already got it in place just to give you a good idea of what it looks like. This is going to be great for carrying those smaller, elongated items. Things like maybe skis and snowboards. You can still fit a couple of duffle bags in there, but it is low profile as you can see. It's actually about 11 and a half inches tall, 92 inches long and about 36 inches wide, so what it lacks in that height, it makes up for in that width at 36 inches wide, so not a bad set up here. more

So today with the 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima Skybox low rooftop cargo box.So this box is gonna allow us to carry gear on the roof of our vehicle. Very similar to a roof mounted basket, except for the box is enclosed. It's gonna keep our gear out of the elements.Now this box has a low profile design, this is what's different about it compared to some of the other boxes out there, it's dimensions are about 92 inches long, 36 inches wide and 11 1/2 inches tall.So it's not gonna be that great for stacking gear on the inside, but it'll be great for those smaller gear items, maybe like skis or snowboards. Now it's gonna, excuse me, it's a universal fit, so it's gonna mount to your round, square, arrow, elliptical and most factory roof rack systems. I've got it attached to my after market roof rack system here on my raised rails of my 4Runner.Again, it's a nice tight fit, it's not going anywhere. But when positioning it on your roof, you want to be sure that you've still got enough room so you open up your rear hatch on your 4Runner. more

So, for times when you might be parked in your garage, or maybe a tight parking spot and you can't get access from your passenger side, come over to the driver's side. We'll take our included set of keys, insert them, unlock it, and push down on this black button. We can open it up, and get whatever we might need.Go ahead and close it, and we'll go to the other side. What's cool is that you can't lock it and remove the key unless it's properly closed. more

A family of five can fill up your vehicle pretty quickly, leaving little to no room for suitcases, sports equipment, skis, snow boards or any other gear or luggage you might have with you. A rooftop cargo box is your best choice for adding vehicle storage. It's also going to be great for keeping that wet and muddy gear out of your vehicle, or anything else that could potentially damage your interior.The Thule force XT offers 18 cubic feet of storage space, it's 82 and 3/4 of an inch long by 33 and 3/4 of an inch wide and 17 and 1/4 inches tall. If your main focus is skiing or snow boarding, you're not going to have any problems carrying five to seven pairs of skis, or three to five snow boards. If you're interested in golf, you won't have any problem carrying two bags with clubs. more

Malone Roof Box Review - 2014 Volkswagen Passat- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Volkswagen Passat, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Rooftop Cargo Box, and that's going to be part number MPG902.If we take a look at some of the features visible from standing right here, we're going to see that it has a very nice aerodynamic shape to it. So while it's installed in your traveling, it's going to cut down on wind noise and drag while it's up there, and your gas mileage shouldn't be affected too much.If we take a look from the front of the vehicle, we're going to see that it's a very narrow cargo box, and so while we have it pushed to the right side of our vehicle, we're going to see on the other side we could fit another accessory even on our smaller sedan. If you wanted to put a bike rack up there, you could choose to do that. You just want to be sure you double check the weight that you might have in your cargo box or on the other accessory and make sure that the roof rack and the vehicle roof can handle that weight.When we come to the back of the vehicle, we're going to see that even with our cargo box installed, we have no problem trying to access the trunk of our vehicle. You can see there's plenty of space, so you're going to have no problem right there. We're going to see we have four different points of contact where our cargo box is secured to the roof rack. more

As you can see, we do have it on top of the roof of our Grand Caravan, so let's take a look at some of the features.As you can see right away, we're going to see a nice aerodynamic shape to it, and that's going to help cut down on wind noise and drag while you're traveling long distances, and your gas mileage shouldn't be affected too much. This is the largest volume box that Inno makes, and that you can . Having up to 18 cubic feet of space on the inside for your cargo, and a weight limit of 165 pounds for the box. But you do want to be sure to double check with your vehicle manual and with your roof rack, to make sure both of those can handle that weight. Also, keeping in mind that this cargo box weighs 50 pounds.Now, another neat feature about this cargo box is that it has a dual side opening lid. more

Inside, we have four power click clamps. What's special about these clamps is that when you turn them to tighten, and when they are sufficiently tightened, they make an audible clicking sound so you can be confident that they are sufficiently tightened.We're gonna put them in their track, make sure that they are centered on our bar, and then begin to spin them to tighten them down. more

Inno Roof Box Review - 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek INBRM660WH- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek, we're going to be test fitting the INNO Wedge 660 rooftop cargo box, part number INBRN660WH.This comes in a gloss white color, but it also comes in a gloss black as well, and this has very sleek design to it with an aerodynamic shape, which is going to help cut down wind noise and drag while you drive. This has 11 cubic feet of space to work with on inside, and you can store anything from your skis, your snowboards, fishing poles, camping gear or just regular luggage, too, everything you want to keep out from the inside of your vehicle or make more space for the inside of your vehicle.Coming to the back portion of it, it has this nice curved back end here on which you can see, we didn't have to remove our rear antennae here once we installed it. Also, we didn't have an issue of clearance, either, between our rear hatch and the box as well.This does have a carrying capacity of 110 pounds, but you always want to double check with the vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can take those weights, and it has dual sided opening as well, meaning it can open on either the passenger or the driver side, and so, you can have this more towards either side depending on whichever side you want to load your gear on.It does come with a set of keys and locks, and once it's in the unlocked position, you can't remove the key so that reduces the ability of locking these in the box, which I have done several times before on others, and then we also have this button on the side here as well. Push that in and that opens it up.It does come with the two straps to tighten up your gear so it doesn't shift back and forth while you drive, and it also has these memory mounts, which is how it attaches to your roof rack system. You close the clamp and the two clamps on the other side will grip your existing roof rack system and stay in place. It also has this gray dial on the side. more

We already have it installed on our vehicle so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.The box itself on the outside measures 55 1/8" wide by 31 1/2" wide by 17 3/8" tall to its tallest point. It does come with two keys to lock it up. Insert it like so, turn it to the side. Now, when it is unlocked, you cannot remove it, so therefore once it is locked you can remove it, you know everything's secure.It's very easy to install. We have these tightening down brackets up at the top here with these loop points on the inside which you can attach load straps to secure your load so they're not moving back and forth while you drive. more

Thule Flow Rooftop Cargo Box Review- Video

Today we'll be taking a look at the Thule Flow Rooftop Cargo Box for skis and snowboards, part number TH606. The cargo box is an aerodynamic shape that maximizes airflow around the box. The streamline design also minimizes wind noise and reduces drag and fuel consumption. The Thule Flow is made out of a rugged ABS plastic construction, so it's resistant to impacts, weather, and harsh UV rays. The dimensions of the exterior are 89" long x 34-1/4" wide x 12-1/4" tall. On the inside of our box, we have three load straps that are holding down our gear with built-in anchor points to secure your gear to your cargo box. The maximum capacity is 6-8 pairs of skis, or 2-3 snowboards with a maximum ski length of 210 cm. The Thule Flow Cargo Box comes with a locking system to secure your gear, but when it's open and in the unlocked position, you cannot remove your key. This has to be closed and locked to be able to remove your key. You want to make sure that you have one side locked when you go to open the other side. The pre-installed, power clip, quick mount system provides a fast and easy installation on your crossbars. more
