Hardware to do that is not included though, but the hole diameter there is a half inch.Now, the retractable straps automatically wind up into the built-in housing with the push of this button right here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Erickson ratchet tie-down strap with double J-hooks and floating rings. The heavy duty tie-down strap is gonna let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer. It's gonna feature these nice floating rings. What these do is these simply allow you to anchor the strap ends to almost anything. You can anchor this to a traditional anchor point, like another tie-down point in your truck bed, or a tie-down point on your trailer. Some applications don't have a suitable anchor point, so what you can do with the floating ring is simply loop the strap around a suitable object, like a rail, and secure the hook to the floating ring, and then that's gonna create a nice anchor point. Then just pull the strap tight and that's all there is to it. more

Erickson Car Tie Down with Ratchet and Swivel Hook Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson car tie-down with the Multiplier ratchet and swivel hook, Part Number EM58509. The Erickson strap is going to offer a 2 inch wide by 7 foot long polyester web strap that's going to give us great resistance to wear and gives us a good long lasting product. The hook, you can see it's going to have the keeper on it, so once we've made our connection there, we won't have to worry about going back and reconnecting, and it's got really heavy duty steel hooks here with the twisted design. What that allows us to do is connect onto our item without our strap being twisted. It helps to promote that strap laying flat. You can see we've got really strong durable reinforced ends here at our connection point, and something I like, the strap's only going to be printed on one side, so it can sometimes help with the confusion of making sure you have it on there properly. To help connecting to our trailer itself, we're going to have a swivel hook here. This is going to rotate 360 degrees, and also has a swing to it, so this should be really good to get everything connected. more

The first thing that stands out is going to be our strap keeper here. As you can see that's going to keep our strap really nice and tidy for us until it's time for use. You won't have to worry about untangling knots or trying to figure out what goes with what. Once we pull that keeper loose, we'll see here we're going to have a heavy-duty steel-constructed ratchet, as well as both of our E-Track connectors here, heavy-duty steel-construction, fully zinc coated. more

Erickson Ratchet Tie Down Straps with Double J Hooks Review- Video
Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Ratchet Tie Down. This is the double J-hook style. It's 1-1/2" wide strap, 15' in length, has a 1,300 working pound load limit, a 4,000 maximum load or a break strength. The part number on it is EM51330. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the ratchet strap, a nice wide handle. For just a 1-1/2" strap it really gives us a great gripping area there. Also the heavy duty construction, as you can see here we've got thick gauge steel, the double J-hooks are nicely put together. more

Erickson Ratchet Straps - Standard Strap - EM58511 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at part number EM58511. This is the Multiplier Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with double j-hooks from Erickson Cargo Tie-downs. The heavy-duty cargo tie-down strap is going to let you secure your cargo in your truck bed or trailer. This unit's going to be ideal for commercial and non-commercial flatbed and OTR applications. The labor-saving ratchet is going to make it really easy to tighten down the strap. You can see here it's going to have a gear right here and a larger gear back here. It's going to feature a two-to-one gear drive that's going to apply double the tension while using the same amount of force you would normally use to operate a standard ratchet system. Tension is going to be applied with each downward push. Very easy system to operate and little effort is required to pull the handle back up. Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down w/ Twisted Snap Hooks Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ericsson ratchet tie down strap with the twisted style snap hooks. This comes in a 15 foot length, straps an inch and a half wide, part number on it is EM51324. This heavy-duty strap has been designed with the twist hook style, it's a flat piece of metal, but they twist out to make a hook. Makes is very easy to connect into your truck or to your trailer. They've got the keepers, they're going to come down, help to hold that in place so we don't have to worry about chasing those side to side. The straps themselves are very heavily stitched, it's going to give us a nice secure connection point there and all of our metal surfaces have been coated with a corrosion resistant material. more

CargoBuckle E-Track Adapter Straps for Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the E-Track adapter for the bolt-on style of the cargo buckle, retractable cargo tie-down straps. This measures seven inches long and it's rated at 833 pounds as a safe working load limit. The part number is IMF14087 and we're using it on our cargo buckle IMF18800. A lot of times guys really like the idea of using the bolt-on style really heavy duty, really nice retractable style strap but they don't want to drill the hole in their trailer or into their truck to mount them. With the E-Track system becoming very, very popular, we've got a solution for that here. We simply bolt on the top plate here and that's going to connect us right down to our E-Track, where we can connect that into any of our vertical or horizontal E-Track systems. We'll just simply take our E-Track connection end and slide it into our groove and allow it to click in. As you can see there, it's nice and secure, now we can just bring our strap up, connect it into whatever it is we're going to be hauling, we got a little jeep here today that we're using. Let the slack come out of there and now it's just a matter of getting it tightened down. I really like the way this works out. more

Snap-Loc Ratcheting S-Hook Tie-Down Strap Review- Video
Today, we'll be taking a look at the Snap-Loc S-Hook Tie-Down Strap with Ratchet rated at 2500 pounds, part number SLLS18RSR. This Snap-Loc Ratcheting Tie-Down has a wide variety of uses, from whether you're using it to secure gear or cargo in the bed of a pickup truck or an open or closed trailer. A couple of neat things about this strap is that it has a hook and loop fastener here, which is going to help contain all the hooks and strap together. So when you get finished using it, if you're putting it under the seat of a truck or having it in your trunk or maybe even in a milk crate, its just going to help everything stay contained and not get all tangled up. We can go ahead and undo the strap, unravel it a little bit. The hooks of this strap are made of a heavy duty steel and they do have a nice vinyl coating. more
