Today, we're gonna take a look at the Rhino-Rack RLTP Legs for factory fixed mounting points. Whether you're using the heavy duty bars or the aero bars, this is going to do an excellent job of freeing up some space inside of the vehicle or giving you room for those longer, larger items, that maybe we can't get inside. Today we're going to take a look at the Yakima HD Crossbar Line. This is going to be an aluminum construction and they come in black. We'll get two bars for our roof rack or our ladder rack, depending on what application we're using these with. And these are going to come in a variety of different sizes. We'll have a small being 55", that part number is going to be Y01156, a medium which will be 60", that's going to be Y01157, a large 68", Y01158, and then an extra large which will be 78", and that's going to be Y01159.These are going to be a really nice rugged bar. This is a permanent mount kit that'll let you install two Rola APE or APX crossbars on a sheet metal surface, so it's perfect for your truck cabs. Now the Rola have crossbars, we do sell those separately on our website. These nylon mounting blocks are a glass filled nylon mounting block, which is very strong and durable. They sit on a nice rubber gasket to protect the roof from scratches and then they have a cover like this one here. You just pop this cover off. more

Thule SquareBar Crossbars Installation - 2015 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today on our 2015 Toyota RAV4, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule SquareBar Crossbar Roof Rack System. Now, this is a great accessory for your RAV4. It's going to allow you to get any accessories you have, whether you got a bike rack, a kayak carrier or even a cargo box up on your roof, so you can get your appropriate gear up there.Now, this roof rack's made up of a couple of different components. Up top, we have our 53 inch SquareBar cross bars. Now what's different about these from the previous ones is that instead of having the foot pack where you have to wrap around the top of it, that can sometimes damage the coating on the outside of the cross bar, we have a little T-slot under here that our Evo clamp feet can come through. That way, it leaves the top wide open for any accessories.Now, with SquareBars, you are going to have a little bit more wind noise and drag when compared to your WingBars or any other aerodynamic bars. more

They we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Evo line of naked roof foot packs and fit kits. Now, we get questions from customers all the time. They want to figure out how they can get a roof rack on their vehicle without accommodations already there. So, you don't have the raised side rails, and you don't have the fixed attachment points. Rola Rail Extreme Crossbar RBU Series End Supports Review- Video

On our Toyota 4Runner we have our end supports as well as the 53" crossbars installed. However, with this kit it's going to allow us to use any length crossbar from the Rola Extreme series. What that's going to do, that's going to allow us to optimize our roof space for your particular situation.Our end supports are a nice easy clamp-on style design. Now, yours may look a little bit different just because of your application, but all of our filters are going to do the same thing and work the same way. Our filter's designed to filter out any particulates in the air, and as you can see, it's doing a pretty good job. It's actually turning the filter brown, getting those really small particles. However, it's also getting larger particles like these bits of leaves and other debris in there, which those actually could damage our climate control system if it gets too far in.A lot of times when we're driving our car, we're not thinking about maintaining it. more

Review of Thule Roof Rack - Feet - TH710501- Video
Today, we're taking a look at the Thule Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars. Now, this comes in a four-pack so you get four heavy-duty feet that mount Thule crossbars to your vehicle with a naked roof so you want to pair these with Thule crossbars and a fit kit to create a complete roof rack system for your vehicle. It's an easy tool-free assembly with the click-in mounting brackets so basically what you need to get these attached to your bar is all you have to do is slide this piece right here into the channel on the bottom of your Thule crossbar.Now once you have these installed onto the crossbars, and once you have your fit kit installed, your fit kit consists of a custom mounting pad to fit the roof line of your vehicle and a clamp that secures it to your vehicle. Once you have these installed onto the crossbars and your fit kit installed onto the feet, you can use the include torque tool to secure the roof rack to your vehicle, so you'll need to remove the cap here or the cover and then through this hole right here there's a little bolt. Place this in there, and you can tighten that. As you tighten that bolt, this does two things. more

Today we're going to take a look at the custom fit kit for Rola DEF series roof rack end supports. This is going to be a custom fit system for your Hyundai Elantra four-door sedan for 2017, and the Kia Forte four-door sedan from 2014 to 2017. Now basically, these clamps are just going to wrap around your door's frame in between the window frame and the door ledge there and that's going to hold the DFE series end supports secure. These are a rubber coated steel so you don't have to worry about any scratching or abrasions on your vehicle's finish. They'll protect that there and then the pads are also going to be made of a flexible but durable rubber so you don't have to worry about any damage there.Now one thing to make sure to pay attention to is the little code that's printed on each of our pads and clamps. And basically the way it's going to work is we'll have our clamps these are going to attach to our DFE series end supports and then that's going to wrap around our roof line, this is going to be between our door and the roof.As you can see, it is rubber coated. It's going to be a steel clamp with that rubber coating to prevent any scratching or abrasions on our vehicle.You want to pay attention to the inside edge there's going to be a printed code there to distinguish which clamp goes where, they'll be a GHF and then EHF. They're gonna have a little bit of a different curve. more

SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2016 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Today, on our 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, we're going to look at the SeaSucker Monkey Bar roof rack system. As you can see, we have the front one installed here to give you an idea of how it will look on the truck. We'll kind of go over some of the features here. The crossbars are made out of an aluminum. They're an inch and a quarter round, and they're four foot wide.Now, they're held into place by your SeaSucker vacuum cups here, which are adjustable inside and out. Today we have a 2014 Volkswagen Passat and we're going to be doing a test fit on the Seasucker Monkey Bar Roof Rack System, which is part number 298-XX6000.Now this roof rack system has a unique way of attaching to your roof. It doesn't use the traditional clamp system where it comes under our door frame, it doesn't even use six mounting points. It uses these vacuum cups to suction down onto your roof.Now, some people are pretty wary of this system because some people think, "How is that going to stay on the roof" Well, right here I'm going to grab a hold of it and I'm gonna start shaking and you can see that the entire car is shaking, so there's no way those are coming off. If you have a big load on top, this plastic piece right here is more likely to break than these suction cups are to be removed from the roof.It's a very easy installation process. There's a little-bit of a difference between a standard suction cup and a vacuum cup. A suction cup you just push down and it just kind of pushes the air out to stick down. With these vacuum cups you just pump these little cylinders and it literally sucks all of the air out to create a very tight seal.Each cup's going to have 210 pounds of pull pressure. more

Speaker 1: Today on 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Seasucker Monkey Bar Roof Rack System, part number 298-SX6000.Now we have the front bar installed, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.Now what sets this roof rack apart from a lot of other roof racks out there on the market is that rather than having the traditional clamp style where it comes under your door frame right here and clamps on, it suction cups to the top of your roof to provide still a snug fit. This is convenient for installation and removal, makes the process a lot quicker, and assembly of the roof rack is a lot quicker than those traditional clamp style roof racks.We do have round bars on this roof rack system, so you are gonna have some wind noise and drag. But if you wanna get rid of that you can purchase the fairing separately at etrailer.com to place it in front to kind of divert that wind and cut down on that drag and noise.And it uses a plunger system to suction cup to the roof of our truck. Each cup is gonna have 210 pounds of pull pressure, so it's gonna be very sturdy on our truck and not move.How we got the front bar in place, we measured from the top of our windshield to the top edge, or the front edge I should say, of our front suction cup. That way we had it even and square on both sides.What's also cool about this roof rack system is that you don't have a set spot of where it needs to be like those old traditional clamp style roof racks. You can place it wherever's convenient for you, as long as you place the suction cups in a spot where the roof doesn't have any of these ridges right here that pop up. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack - Feet - RRRCH4 Review- Video
Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the RCH Legs for Rhino-Rack Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms. These are going to be the high profile legs to mount your Rhino-Rack Crossbars or Pioneer Platform to your vehicle. It is designed to work with vehicles that have fixed mounted points so it's going to be pre installed mounting points from the manufacturer that this is going to fit into.You will need to pick up either two crossbars and the RPC Fit Kit to get this installed or the Pioneer Platform and an RPC Fit Kit. The easiest way to find the right fit kit for your vehicle and the right length bar is going to be to go through etrailer's Fit Guide.
