Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Terrain you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install, a draw tie class two trailer hitch receiver part number 36408.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. So you can see it's completely hidden behind the bumper fascia. The only thing we really see is the receiver tube and just a little bit of the cross tube here in the center. It does fit very nicely with the vehicle.Now as far as weight capacity goes, we're going to have a 300 pound max ton weight, which is downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube. We're going to have a 3500 pound max trailer weight, which is the trailer plus the load included. I do recommend checking the owners manual of your terrain to make sure the vehicle can withstand that amount of weight. more

You can see it fits very nicely up underneath the bumper, or behind the bumper fascia.This hitch is gonna be a class three hitch. more

Best 2017 GMC Terrain Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Terrain we'll be having a look at our best hitch options. We have three different hitches here for you today. On the top we have a Draw-Tite, part number 76028. In the middle we have a CURT, part number 13591. On the bottom we have the etrailer.com hitch, part number E98865.Now for a brief summary about our hitches. As far as weight capacity goes, the Draw-Tite hitch is the best option here because it does have the highest trailer weight capacity and tongue weight capacity. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 GMC Terrain we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Curt class 2 trailer hitch receiver, part number C12291. The receiver tube is the only thing you can see. The cross tube is completely covered behind the bumper fascia so it maintains that nice clean look. The edge of the receiver tube is nice and flush with the edge of the bumper fascia, so you're not going to have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when loading and unloading the back of the vehicle. It's going to be a class 2 hitch. It's going to be 1-1/4 x 1-1/4. more

Speaker 2: This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. As you can see, this is the only part of the cross tube you can see. Has a rounded design, fits with the contour of the vehicle. What's good about this hitch is it's flush with the bumper fascia 00:00:23, so you're not gonna have to worry about hitting your legs or your shins on it when you're loading or unloading the back of the vehicle.It's gonna be a class three, it's gonna be two inch by two inch. more
