That way we can try to answer any questions those of you might have.That's exactly what we're doing here today, on our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt vehicle wiring harness with a four way flat connector. With these Pathfinders being very capable SUV's, a lot of people use them to do a little bit of everything, which does include towing some trailers. Whether you're towing a small utility trailer to get maybe some materials for a home improvement, or maybe hitting a Lake with your boat for the weekend, you're going to need a way to illuminate those trailer lights. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Speaker 1: Today on this 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness for factory two package vehicles with the seven way trailer connector, part number 118273.Here's what our seven way looks like installed. The seven way connector will allow us to tow most trailers out there, even ones that have electric brakes, provided we have a brake controller installed on our Pathfinder. On the seven way connector, we'll have electric brake output, we'll have a 12 volt charge line, we'll have backup lights, turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, and running lights. On all of our lighting circuits, we have a maximum power output of 10 amps per circuit, which is more than sufficient power to tow a trailer that has many incandescent light bulbs or as many LED lights as you want because they do draw less power. On our trailer brake output, it is rated for 20 amps, and on our 12 volt charge line, it is rated for up to 30 amps.We have a nice dust cover here, which is spring loaded. This will protect our connector when it is not in use. more

Best 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be looking at our best trailer wiring options. We have three wiring options here today. Off to the right we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118670. In the middle we have the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with a seven-pole connector, part number 118273. Off here to the left we have the Hopkins Plug-in Simple vehicle wiring harness with a four-pole flat trailer connector, part number HM11143690. Now the biggest differences that we have in our trailer wiring harness, besides the fact that we have a seven-way here and two four-ways, is that both the seven-way and the four-way that we have here from Tekonsha will connect to the vehicle's existing tow package wire connectors. Now the Hopkins doesn't utilize the factory tow package wiring. more

Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Path Finder, we're going to show you part number HM40975. This is the Pollakk 7 and 4-pole trailer connector socket with mounting bracket. This is what the connector looks like when it's installed on the Path Finder. To install, you got two connection points. This is our 4-pole end. We open it up. We can see, we have our four pins. more
