Today our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for factory tow package vehicles, part number C56151. This is what the wiring harness looks like installed. As you'll see, it has a built in dust cover which you can pull to the side, and this wiring harness utilizes your factory tow package already on your vehicle. To begin our install, we'll find ourselves at the left rear corner of our vehicle. This plastic panel right here needs to be removed in order for us to access our factory tow package connectors. We have one, two, three, and four plastic pushpin fasteners that hold this panel in place. The way these work is take a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the center section, and then pull it on out. Once we have loose you can see we can run our connection point which will be here, and then run our wires down towards the bottom and towards the hitch. Let's start off, we'll go ahead and open our back hatch and we'll go ahead and remove our tail light. Now, all these steps in the passenger side will be the same on the driver side. more

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be installing the tow ready T1 custom fit vehicle wiring harness, part number 118269. Our first step will be removing the under body panel on the driver's side. We'll remove the four push pin fasteners and then gently pull or pry down on the under body panel, releasing the two fasteners that go into studs in the bottom of the floor pan. If these are tied to the frame, these could be difficult to see. Once you remove the under body panel, go ahead and locate the manufacturer's till ports. There will be two of them on the inner fender well behind the driver's side rear wheel. Once we locate the two ports, we'll go ahead and remove the connector covers, pressing the locking tab to remove the cover for each. Once we have them out of the way, we can go ahead and take the new tow ready harness and plug directly into the manufacturer's ports. Next, we'll take the converter box and mount it to the vehicle. more
