Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Profile Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Sonic- Video
Today, we're taking a look at our Konig Snow Tire Chains. These are the CG9 tire chains, making them low-profile, as well as self-tensioning. We'll see them here on our 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. While the Sonic isn't really a vehicle you would expect that would need tire chains, sometimes, especially in certain states, it's required to have tire chains on your vehicle before you can continue. Also, if you're going through snow, you're going through ice, you're gonna need that extra traction on the road, and that's where these can come in handy. These are probably the easiest low-profile snow tire chains that I know of, that can fit for the Chevrolet Sonic. more

Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. These are your diamond pattern style chains, so it's gonna give you a lot of a smoother ride compared to your ladder style tire chains. It has these bridges right here that break the ice and the square D-links give you really good traction in deep snow. So I do like the ratcheting style self-tensioning system. Once we got it on here, it's not gonna go anywhere until we take it off. I just did not like the installation process. more

Titan Chain Heavy Duty Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan chain heavy duty snow tire chains on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. So these chains are gonna be rated for on-road and off-road use. So these aren't the most aggressive changes you can get because you can get the V-Bar chains which literally just have spike on the outside of them. You can also get the studded chains which are also super aggressive, but on-road use with those, you're gonna kinda scuff up your driveway if you have some pavement there. I don't suggest that. I think these are pretty much the best value when it comes to chains. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD. Now, if you've never used tire chains in the snow on a vehicle, these are gonna be an awesome addition if you live in an area where there's snow on the ground quite often, and sometimes they're actually legally required in certain areas. Now, if you generally don't drive in the snow, but want to be prepared if snow does come, these are also nice, 'cause you can kinda keep these in your car and get them installed pretty quickly. Now, immediately they're gonna give you better traction for starting and stopping, and that's accomplished by using this ladder style. Now that's gonna give you kind of a paddle-like effect to get into the snow, to get you that traction. more

Today on our 2022 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain, snow tire chains. So these are a ladder-pattern style chain, what that means is we're just gonna have these cross chains going across. So these are gonna leave a little bit of gap. So we are gonna kinda go from chain to rubber to chain to rubber. These aren't gonna be the smoothest of all the chains that you have. But when it comes to ladder rack or ladder-pattern style chains, this is gonna be fairly smooth, because we do have the twist links. more

Today on our 2022 Chevrolet Colorado, we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains. What we have right here is a ladder pattern style chain. What does that mean Well, we just have these cross chains going across. So these are gonna be a little bit more rough than some of the other ones that make a diamond pattern just because with these, we're gonna go from chain to tire, to chain to tire, as we rotate around. So it's gonna be a little bit rougher of a ride compared to some of the other ones, definitely gonna give you more traction than some of the cable tire chains. Just because those don't give you a whole lot of traction, but they are smoother, so it's all up to you. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we have a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains. If you're looking for my favorite snow tire chain of all the ones we carry here, this is it, it's really quick and easy to install, and it's just definitely an upgrade from some of the other types of tire chains that we have on our website. One thing that's kind of unique to these, we have these icebreakers here, so if it is kind of icy out to, these big steel plates are going to crush that up, so you can get some traction, and we do have some diamond patterns, so we're not really gonna be going from chain to tire that often, so it's gonna be a little bit smoother of a ride compared to the some of the more aggressive chains. This is gonna to get the job done. You're gonna to get unstuck in mostly any situation. If you we're to go with something, maybe you want something a little more rugged and off road, you can go with some of the other ones but it's gonna be not near as easy of an install, or it's not gonna be not near as smooth of a ride. more

So since your Chevrolet Cruz has really limited clearance around your tire, if you do or are required to have snow tire chais or some kind of traction device, you're gonna need very low profile snow tire chains. And that's what Glacier chain cable chains are made for. You can see how instead of links or chains these have rollers all on their cable and that means you do still get that traction for when it's snowy, when it's icy on the road without taking up too much space behind your tire. So what we have here are steel rollers wrapped around wire cross cables. So those steel rollers as well as those cables are going to be made of a low carbon steel. more

They are going to be dual-sided D links, and made up manganese nickel alloy steel. Another thing that I like about it, it's not going to be the roughest ride, these aren't the most aggressive chains you can get, and that's just because they all are twisted right here. They're all made of a low carbon steel, so they are going to resist against rust and corrosion, and be extra strong, just so they wear away relatively evenly. I just like it to where I don't really have a whole lot of metal in front of my wheels. I really like these wheels and I like to keep them like that. more

And that what really is what makes it such a smooth ride, just because it's not that aggressive and it's going to help just roll over all that snow. more

Pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains Review - 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: What's going on, everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag, all square snow tire chains on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain, and they are going to be made of a manganese-nickel alloy steel. So it is going to be nice and hard, rough and tough so you guys don't have to worry about it rusting away over time. It's going to last you quite a bit of seasons. As you guys can assume, based on the title of these chains, we are going to have square links. more

What's going on everybody, Adam here, with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag all square snow tire chains, on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. They sit a little bit higher off our tire, so they are going to be a little bit rougher of a ride, but definitely not near as rough as some of the V-Bar style chains. We are going to have a manganese nickel alloy steel construction, so it is going to resist against rust and corrosion and evenly wear down over time just because of these links here. They are about 5.6 millimeters thick, so again, not the most aggressive, but definitely something that's going to get you unstuck in whatever situation you have. more

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the glacier V-Bar snow tire chains with cam tensioners on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain, but these are going to be more aggressive than some that you guys see. Why Because we have the V-Bar chains. As you guys see here, massive studs on the end of these links. They are twist links, but this is what makes it a V-bar chain. more

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Glacier Cable snow tire chains on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain, but we are going to have some spring rollers on the end. So these are going to be the. probably more the least aggressive chain that we offer, but it is going to give you an extremely smooth ride. And it is compliant with all the DOT rules and regulations on chains. more

Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig self-tensioning snow tire chains on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a chain that is going to self tighten, and it is going to give us a nice diamond pattern. And what I really like about it is we do have these steel plates here, and that is going to help break up all that ice and also help you guys returning. We just have them on the back here, but if you guys put them on the front, just grabbed two of the same exact chain and it'll go on the front. And the nice thing about that is those little steel plates are going to make it really, really easy to get those turns and stops and starts that you guys want. more

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Konig standard snow tire chain on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a snow tire chain that is going to have relatively smaller dealings going around. All going to be made of a steel construction, it's going to resist against rust and corrosion over time, so it should last you guys quite a bit of seasons. As you guys can see here, we do have these little sections here connecting the two, and that's going to give us this nice diamond pattern. This is going to be great just for starting and stopping, but also turning too. more

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chain on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. So as you guys can see here, we do have spring rollers on our chains here, and these are going to give you guys an extremely smooth ride when it comes to putting chains on your tires. A lot of the times with the, even the twist links are going to be a lot more aggressive than this and it's going to give you quite a rough ride, especially with the V-Bar style. So if you guys are looking for an on road, smooth rides just to get you out of the lighter conditions, these chains are going to do that. What makes it really, really smooth is the spring rollers they are case-hardened. more

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with Etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag 7mm LT Studded Truck Tire Chain with cam tensioners on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain, and these are going to be made of a high-end steel alloys. So it is going to resist against rust and corrosion over time.But what really sets these chains apart from most isn't the cam tensioners, it's the massive 7mm studs on the end here. As you can see, these are extremely aggressive chains. These are going to be made for off-road use only. more

Pewag All Square Mud Service Tire Chains Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe- Video
Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the pewag all square mud service snow tire chain on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe.So what we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. These are going to get you guys out of all those snowy and icy situations, but also the muddy situations. So let's just say it's a little wet outside and the ground is extremely soft, these are going to be able to handle a lot on-road and off-road.So we are going to have massive seven millimeter links here, and of course, all square links. So they are going to wear away relatively smoothly, but these aren't really going to ride as smooth as some of the smaller square links that we have. The twist links are definitely going to have a little bit better ride quality, but we are going to have better ride quality with the all square snow tire chains compared to the V-Bar style. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains for your guys' wide-base tires on our 2020 Chevy Tahoe.What we have here is a ladder pattern style chain, so we're not going to have chains linking these two sections going across our tire. So, this isn't going to be the best for turning and stuff like that. I usually dislike having chains that have a little piece connecting these two here, but that's just me. They're still going to do the job. What makes these different from some of the others is just the massive link size that we get, about 5.6 millimeters, so these are going to be pretty beefy.As you guys can see, it does stick out a decent amount, especially compared to those twist links. more
