So this video is going to be talking about the different options available for suspension enhancement on both the front and the rear of your 4Runner. Today in our 2012 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be installing the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs, part number F4135. To give you an idea of the operation of the air helper springs, we're going to add approximately 1100 pounds of weight to the manufacturer's install suspension and then run it through our test course. Along the slalom course, you'll notice the vehicle sag and body roll. Then going over the bumps, you'll notice the bouncing body and roll of the vehicle. We'll go ahead and repeat the same process with our air helper springs installed. Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Installation - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Installation - 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner, we'll be installing the Timbren rear suspension enhancement system, part number TTORSEQ. Now to begin our install, we've already gone ahead and raised the rear axle and now we'll remove the rear wheels. Once we remove the rear wheels, it will expose the manufacturer's bump stop just above the rear axle. Now to remove the manufactured bump stop, we'll remove the two fasteners that secure it here to the frame. Once the fasteners are removed, we'll go ahead and set the bump stop aside. Next, we'll need to assemble our new Timbren ion spring. The spring will need to be attached to the upper bracket and then through the top of the spring. Next we'll take our upper bracket and thread it onto the bolt. more
