Trailer Hitch Installation - 1998 C/K Series Pickup - Curt- Video
Today, on our 1998 Chevy CK Series pickup, we'll be installing the Curt two inch receiver hitch, part number C14081. Now, here's what our hitch will look like once installed. Next, we'll give you a couple measurements to assist you selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is two and a half inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 22 and a quarter inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. We'll now go ahead with the installation. Now, to begin our install, we'll go ahead and note that if you have a spare tire, it's best to go ahead and remove it for ease and installation of the install. more
