This is a premium brake controller from Tekonsha that's going to have not only your proportional braking that other brake controllers do offer, this one's going to have a slew of extra features that's going to make your life easier, especially if you have multiple trailers. Now it is proportional, which means it has an inertia sensor inside. So as your vehicle is coming to a stop, it's detects that momentum, and it applies the brakes on your trailer appropriately, depending on that momentum.
