In the middle we have our Draw-Tite, part number 41947. At the bottom here we have another CURT, part number C15400. Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 model, we're going to be taking and look at and showing you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is a 2 inch opening hitch. Its part number is 13322. Here's what our hitch looks like when installed. Nice, clean, simple look. Kind of beefs up the look of the truck just a little bit. The receiver tube opening sits out here just about or maybe just past flush with the outside of the bumper here, so it's really convenient. more

Alright today on this 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 series we are gonna install part number 87186 from hidden hitch. This will also apply to part number 75362 to from Draw-tite. Alright now this is what the hitch looks like when its installed on the truck. Next, we'll give you some measurements that will help you out selecting some accessories. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground on this truck is going to be 21 inches and from the center hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper is going to be 2 and 3/8 inches. Now I'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. more
