Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ford F-150 - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2017 Ford F150, we're going to be taking a look at and also showing you how to install the Draw-tite Max-Frame custom fit Class 3 trailer hitch receiver. Its part number is 75938. This is what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. You see our main rounded cross tube, you see about half of that, as it comes across, meets in the middle here at our 2-inch by 2-inch receiver tube opening. It's got the rounded style reinforcement collar here around the end of it, and it's just about even with the outside edge of the bumper, so it's going to be easy to get to, but we're also not going to have to worry too much about bumping into it or something like that. You will notice the plug here on the top, it's only going to go in so far. Once you have your hitch installed, what I would recommend doing would just be to cut the bottom of that off until it sits flush. You can also completely remove it if you want. more
