Adding a set of these above bed rails into your bed in your F-150, is gonna allow you to put in your industry-standard fifth wheel hitches. The particular hitch they decided to go with on this one is gonna be a REESE 16K hitch. They're just getting started out camping and they wanted to get into a little bit more affordable fifth wheel hitch. Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails Kit Installation - 2017 Ford F-150- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rail Kit with custom installation kit on a 2017 Ford F-150. Now this kit is gonna give you the rails for your bed which is gonna allow you to drop in your fifth wheel hitch. And something I'll point out is on a short truck like this, you are gonna want to get something that slides, that way you have clearance and the rails on this short bed truck are pretty far forward, but having the ability to hook up to your fifth wheel camper or trailer is a really nice option. So make sure you're choosing something that has that sliding ability to make sure that it can tow properly. And this rail system's really nice because if you ever need to have your truck bed usable to load it up, you can take your fifth wheel out of the rails and it's really not taking up much space. It's slightly raised, maybe just about three inches or so, but overall you still have all the use of your bed. more

Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2018 Ford F-150 with a short bed and we're gonna be installing the Demco in bed 5th wheel rails. Now these are gonna be an industry standard rail. The slots in them are gonna line up with all the 5th wheel hitches on the market. They're gonna allow you to drop your 5th wheel in place and then hook up and tow your 5th wheel camper. Right off the bat, you're gonna notice this real thick heavy duty black powder coat finish that's gonna keep your rails looking good for a long time and resist that rust and corrosion. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch here on a 2019 Ford F-150. So if we come inside to the driver wheel well here, you can see we have our release handle. So this is what's gonna secure the hitch ball in the truck bed or the companion, if that's what we're gonna be using. So there's gonna be two different positions. You have the locked position, which is like so, and then if we pull it out and then rotate it slightly, that's gonna be the unlocked position. So when it's unlocked, we can remove the hitch ball, flip it around, do as we need, and then just simply lock it, whether we're towing or putting it back in the stow position, we'll just simply release it like so. more

Today on our 2009 Ford F150 you're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit with Base Rails for fifth wheel trailer hitches.This is what our rails look like when they're installed. You can see they fit nicely in the bed of the truck and they're not really gonna take up much room. They're only gonna stick up about an inch to an inch and a half off the bed of our truck, which is gonna be great for giving us total bed access. Now you're gonna see some different slots here. These rails are nice because they're gonna work with different size hitches. The slots are gonna be for different weight classes. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F-150 we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Reese Quick Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches. Part number is RP50087-58. Now to begin our installation on the bottom of our rails here we need to place on the galvanic strip. This is going to protect against any corrosion. You can see it's pre-cut to where our bolts will pass through there fine with no issues. They come in strips like this. more

Speaker 2: Today in our 2016 ford f-150 we will be installing the Reese quick install custom base rails and out board installation kit for fifth wheel trailer hitches. Part Number RP56034-53.Speaker 2: All right this is what it looks like installed with our fifth wheel head sitting on top of it. Lets go ahead and we'll take that off, and we'll show you what the rails look like just inside the truck by them selves. As you can see there's only five bolts for each rail. Two on each side, and one in the middle, one towards the back of the truck, and one towards the front of the truck. The two bolts on the outside of the rails go to the frame brackets, which are bolted on to the frame of our truck using two bolts each. more
