Thule WingBar Edge Crossbars Installation - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Aiden Hi everyone, Aiden here etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Thule roof rack system for raised rails, on a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So this system is gonna utilize the wing bar edge crossbars. This is gonna be an arrow bar which is gonna help with just general wind noise and cutting through that air pretty well. They're gonna work pretty well for any clamp around accessories, they're a very standard size but then there's also the T track up top, where if we remove these outer covers on the feet we're gonna slide our accessories in and the weather stripping will conform around those T track accessories and make sure that there's no wind noise getting in there. So this is one of those systems that's going to end in the foot pack, where the crossbar ends about here-ish and it doesn't leave any overhang. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack system on our 2023 GMC Yukon XL. This kit is really nice, because it works with the flush rails on our Yukon here. Just holds on to these lips on the rails by the clamps on the feet of the system. If you're looking to transport some larger items, like maybe some ski and snowboard carriers, maybe some roof boxes, baskets, or up to kayaks, and you want a way to get those to where you need them to go, a roof rack system like this is a really good option. The crossbars themselves are 60 inches a piece, technically capable of supporting up to 220 pounds, but the feet that we're using today are actually only able to support 165 pounds. more

Now a roof rack is good for a number of things, especially here on the Maverick. We do have a shorter bed, so anything longer like lumber or a kayak, it's hard to put in the bed. Putting it up on top of the vehicle might be a better option especially with kayak carriers being so easy to mount on these roof racks. I see that being a really big benefit here and not having to worry about the small bed space. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Inno flush feet roof rack system on top of our 2022 Ford Maverick. So a roof rack can be good for a number of things. Things like lumber or kayaks that are maybe a bit longer that aren't gonna fit very well in the bed of our Maverick or just having some extra space. Let's say we don't have a tonneau cover and we've got some luggage for a trip that we don't have room for inside the vehicle and we don't want it out in the bed. We could put a roof box up on top of the crossbars here so we have some covered and locked up storage on the roof rather than having it in the bed. more

How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Roof Rack System with our JetStream crossbars and showing you how to install them on our 2022 GMC Sierra. If you're transporting a large amount of items or just large items in general and you don't have room in your bed, or they're just items you'd rather keep out of the cabin of your vehicle, a roof rack system like this is gonna be a good way to do that. The crossbars that we have here are an aerodynamic shape so they taper in the back just to cut down on some of that wind noise and wind resistance. With any sort of roof rack system, you'll get a little bit, but this is nice that it cuts some of that down. Additionally, it does feature this rubberized strip inside this T-track slot, so you can use these roof rack with T-track accessories and there's no need to trim the actual strip to get those on. more

How's it going everyone, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System on our 2022 GMC Sierra. The roof rack system is nice in the case that you want to store some of your bigger accessories, say a roof box, roof basket, kayaks, things like that that you might not want to store in your bed or might not fit. These bars are constructed of aluminum so they are lightweight but they are still capable of supporting up to 165 pounds. Crossbars have an arrow shape so they taper in the front and the back, which helps with wind resistance and just keeps things streamlined compared to say, your round crossbars. Additionally, we've found that if you have roof rack accessories, clamps tend to work a little bit better on these than the round ones as well. more

This roof rack system features crossbars that are 49 inches in length and use a raised rack tower. So this rack here will hold up to 165 pounds and can hold most of your accessories that you're gonna need, including kayaks, roof boxes and roof baskets. We're gonna go ahead and measure our overhang. Like I said before, the crossbars themselves are 49 inches, but we're gonna measure the distance that it's gonna hang over your car. For the front, we're looking at just about two inches on the nose. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at our Rhino-Rack roof rack system here on our 2021 Volkswagen Jetta. This system has the 49 inch long vortex aero crossbars, the towers for naked roofs and the custom fit kit for your Volkswagen Jetta. You can get longer crossbars of up to 54 inches if you want more overhang, but the downside to too much overhang is you're more likely to hit your head against the crossbar getting into the car. So that is something to consider. This is a very good balance between the two where you still have crossbar length but you don't have too much. So if you wanna carry around some fun accessories on your Jetta, maybe you wanna carry around some kayaks or a roof box. more

Hi, it's Evangeline, and this is gonna be the best roof rack system for your 2015 Ford Fiesta. So I actually installed all these different roof racks on the Ford Fiesta, and we have the Rhino-Rack, we have the Inno, the Yakima is currently installed on there. They have differences between them like all of them are solid roof racks, solid options, but some are better at some things compared to the others. For example, we have the Rhino-Rack here, and this is gonna be ideal if you want something sporty, as well as the easiest one to install. Then you have the Inno, this is my favorite, all-around roof rack because it's still not as pricey as the more premium roof racks, but you have everything included as well. You have your locks, you have your very sleek end cap at the end, and then you still have your custom fit kit, which is relatively easy to install, not as easy as Rhino-Rack, but still doable. more

So having a smaller sedan like the Ford Fiesta doesn't mean you can't carry around the fun accessories. So this is the system from Inno. There's a bunch of different options you can get like a longer version where the feet go past. This is gonna be the flush foot version. So, if you need a quick and easy roof rack because you wanna carry around fun accessories like maybe a kayak or some roof-mounted bike racks or a roof box, then the SeaSucker Monkey Bars are designed for a quick install. Once you arrive at your destination, you can take it off quickly too. If possible I do recommend taking a look at our custom fit options for your Ford Edge, just because they give a little bit more stability and their designed to last a little bit longer since you don't have to constantly take them off and put them back on. But I do understand maybe you're in a rental car or if you just want that quick solution. So these are the 48 inch long crossbars. more

This is gonna be an all-in-one roof rack system, where the crossbars and the towers are all in one piece. It's gonna be a little bit more entry-level and maybe not as capable as a regular roof rack system but it's gonna be a lot quicker and easier to get set up. What you first need is a roof rack system. So this is gonna be the Inno aero bar system. This is the through feet style meaning there's gonna be a little bit of overhang.
