Now me personally, if I we're looking for a hitch for my Ultima, I would go with the Curt for a few different reasons, but before we get into exactly which one I would pick, let's go over a few of the features and see which one's going to stand out to you the best.Like I mentioned before, both of our hitches are going to be a Class One. Adding a hitch on your vehicle is going to give you a lot of different options. Now you want to put a bike rack on so you don't have to try to load your bikes in the back of the trunk or on the roof or maybe you want to put a cargo carrier on it, get some items out from inside the car, put them on the cargo carrier to make a little bit more room for your passengers. This is going to be a class one hitch so you're going to be limited to a two bike bike rack, steel construction, black powder coat finish so it's really going to maintain a nice clean look on the vehicle. more

Today on our 2020 Nissan Kicks, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver.So it seems like many of our customers who own Kicks are primarily interested in two things as far as the hitch goes. One of them being, how it's going to look and the other one being, is it going to work well for those accessories particularly folding ones like bike racksWell, after getting the hitch on and having a look at it, to me, I think it's going to look pretty good. Really, the only thing you're going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening. And it's not going to stand out all that much. This one does lack a reinforced collar, and there's another one available that does have a reinforced collar, some minor detail, but to me that collar kind of goes a extra mile and gives it a little bit more of a complete look.Now, as far as this working well with those folding accessories, I think it's going to be decent. more

etrailer Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2016 Nissan Murano.Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is visible. It's going to sit right below the bumper, but I like the fact that it has that matte black carbide finish on it, because it kind of blends in with the black plastic at the bottom of the bumper, and it's not that visible. Now, what I do like also is that the receiver tube's pretty close to the back end, but we're not going to have to worry about hitting our leg when we're walking behind it because it's just recessed just a little bit underneath the bumper.But it is a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, and it's going to have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories. Obviously we could tow a trailer, put a ball mount in there, maybe we want to go down to the lake or something with a boat. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Hi there Nissan owners. Today in your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, Draw-Tite's 2" trailer hitch receiver.A portion of the crossbar is going to be hidden behind the bumper, but towards the center here, you will be able to see it sticking below. But it doesn't detract from the vehicle's looks too much because it is tucked back pretty nicely.At the end, we have our 2" x 2" receiver, which is going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're just wanting to put a bike rack in it and load it up with some bikes to hit the trail, or if you want to hook up a ball mount in it, and do some work with a trailer. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip.Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but we have plenty here at etrailer.com. You also notice that there's a small hole just to the rear of our hitch pin hole. And this allows us to use a J-Pin. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com class 3, two inch trailer hitch receiver.The hitch is going to be a great addition to your frontier because not only is it going to give you the opportunity to tell all of your trailers, but you can also use it for hitch-mounted accessories as well.So my opinion, that hitch is probably going to look the best out of all the ones available, and that's really due to the fact that it has this carbide matte black finish. It's really just going to blend in to the back of the front tier. And you're really not even going to be able to notice it all that much.Since this is a class 3 hitch, we're going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and a reinforced collar for extra strength. It's going to use the standard 5/8 size pin and clip, and keep in mind the pin and clip does not come included with the hitch, but if you need one, you can find it at etrailer. more

Hi there Juke owners today in your 2011 Nissan Juke, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's class 1 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You will be able to see the cross tube across the bottom, as well as the receiver here at the back, but it is tucked up underneath fairly well, so it won't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much. It uses a half-inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. Underneath it has plate-style safety chain loops that has a medium sized opening that should accommodate most shape, size, and styles of safety chain. more

And it's also going to have a matte black carbide finish which does disappear more as a result. But that same finish is very scratch resistant and it's going to stay looking good for a very long time.Now even though the hitch does sit a little bit further back, it's still going to give us some pretty good clearance. more

Compared to some of the other hitches, because of how this one contours to the back of our bumper, it is going to be just a little bit more visible, but I personally think it does make it a little easier to use because we're going to have a little more space to work with. I think this hitch will work really well, not only for accessories, but especially for towing. And I say that because it already has a bracket attached to it to hook up your trailer wiring and we're going to have very large safety chain openings that are really easy to get to, give us plenty of space, and that allow us to use just about any size hook that we might have.Since it is a class three hitch, we're going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and we're also going to have a reinforced collar for extra assurance. And it's going to have the standard five eighth size pinhole. more

Some of the cross tube is going to be visible underneath, but it's tucked back pretty far so it's not going to be that noticeable unless you're kind of ducked down looking underneath. It's a class three two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. Whether you're going to be putting a bike rack on it and loading it up with four bikes, or you're going to be hooking up a small trailer or a small camper and taking it for the weekend.It uses a five eighths inch hitch pin and clip. It features plate style safety chain loops, and they do have a rather small or medium size opening, but it should still accommodate most safety chains.It features a 350 pound tongue weight and that's the force going down on top of the receiver and that should be more than enough for a bike rack loaded up with four bikes or a cargo carrier loaded up with plenty of cargo.It also features a 3,500 pound gross towing capacity, which is how much it can pull behind it. more

Today on your 2014 Nissan NV200 we're going to be installing CURT's Class III 2" Hitch Receiver.Part of the cross tube is going to be hidden behind the bumper but there is going to be a section toward the middle that is going to be visible. It's a Class III 2" x 2" receiver so it's going to be great for just about all of your towing needs, whether you're putting a cargo carrier on the back to haul a generator to the job site or you need to bring your utility trailer along to help clean up a mess.It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch but you can pick one up here at eTrailer.com.Below our receiver we'll have plate-style safety chain loops. They do have a fairly large opening. It is a little thicker towards the bottom so some of your smaller safety chains may be a little bit tighter getting them on but it should accommodate most sizes.As always you want to verify in your vehicle's owner's manual to ensure you don't exceed any of its towing capacities. more

Great for some of those bike racks, smaller cargo carriers, or if we wanted to do some light duty towing.Now either way, the way we're going to mount any of our accessories to our hitch is we're going to use the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. Now these are not included with the kit, but you can pick them up at etrailer.com along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure.Now if you do plan on doing some light duty towing, maybe you're towing a boat trailer or a jet ski trailer, we're going to have somewhere to put our safety chains, and our connection point is going to be a loop style, welded to the bottom the receiver tube, and as you can see, we'll have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off.As far as the weight capacity is concerned, our hitch is going to have a 300 pound towing weight. more
