Hey, it's Ethan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22-inch Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2017 Toyota RAV4. You might wanna use something like this in the event that you maybe don't have enough storage space in the hatch or you're just storing or carrying some items that might be a little bit dirty, sandy, muddy, wet, anything that you don't wanna keep inside the vehicle, this cargo carrier is a great way to extend that storage space and get a little bit more out of it. The carrier is made of aluminum so it's still pretty lightweight. It's not gonna add a ton of pounds to your tongue weight, so that's a nice feature. Additionally, you can see that there are a bunch of gaps in the middle where things could fall through, like just the sand and the mud, not specifically your items 'cause this is so close enough that most of those should be fine. more

Adding the cargo carrier onto the back of your vehicle is definitely a way to optimize a little bit of real estate that you never had before, and it's really great when doing camping or outdoor stuff, or even house projects where all the dirty stuff can live outside here without having to put it in your vehicle. And this rack is really gonna maximize that real estate by having a decent size here. So overall, we have 60 inches by 22, and We also have a seven-inch height here to kind of keep your contents in place. And going along with that, you have plenty of spaces to be able to hook up your ratchet straps or even a cargo net, as all of it's nice and open. The cargo carrier itself is made of a black powder-coated steel and it still only comes in at about 25 pounds. So for the construction, it still remains pretty light, which is a nice feature. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be talking about how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier with a 60-inch long ramp fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So this cargo carrier is pretty unique because it is made of aluminum, so it is lightweight, but it still has a really long ramp. With how it works with the Equinox, some things to keep in mind is I like how low to the ground it sits making it easier for the incline to ramp things up into their carrier. The downside is you are gonna have to have a two-inch hitch receiver and make sure you have enough tongue weight for those heavier items. Also, you are gonna lose access to your hatch once something is loaded up onto that ramp. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods wheelchair carrier with a ramp on a 2022 Hyundai Tucson. Now having a ramp on this cargo carrier allows you to not only get a mobility scooter or a wheelchair up here but also if you have a lawnmower, a compressor, really anything heavy with wheels, you can load it up. And with a 500 pound capacity, that really opens up to what you can put in here. This is large enough for most mobility scooters and just to check your dimensions at home and if you have one, this is gonna be 50 inches long by 30 inches deep with 6 1/2 overall height, which should be just enough to kind of keep that in place. You also have these nice holes here. That way you can really strap it down with a ratchet or a cargo carrier net, something along those lines to really hold your contents tight. more

This is gonna be a compact steel cargo carrier, great if you have limited space inside of your shed or your garage, but you still need to add extra cargo space to your vehicle. So this will go right into the hitch of your RAV4, and it's gonna be helpful if you have larger or dirtier items that you don't want dirtying up the interior of your vehicle. So taking a look at how this fits on the RAV4, this is gonna be very compact. So for our measurement, it's gonna be about 53 1/4 by 19 3/4 inches, easy to store in your shed, but when you have it on your car, it will still take up a little bit of space. So I like to measure from the bumper going out, we have it at about 2 feet or 24 inches. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum hitch-mounted cargo carrier with the 60 inch ramp right here at etrailer. So this is a basket style and the differences between the other types of cargo carriers is some are made of steel, some have more or less weight capacity, some have a different shape, some are higher up off the ground than others. What's unique to this one is it's made of aluminum so it should be lighter to carry compared to a steel cargo carrier, and it has a 60 inch ramp or five feet. So that's more ideal for your heavier items that you can't just lift up into the carrier but you may need to push up into the carrier. So this has a 500 pound weight capacity. This is a distributed weight capacity and one thing to remember with that though is please be mindful of your actual tongue weight capacity on your hitch receiver. more

Now as for how close it gets to the vehicle notice how we still have plenty of clearance from the bumper to that first rail about almost three inches of clearance there. If you have some larger gear or some ice and snow type of materials or just, dirty things in general, that you don't wanna keep in the trunk of your car, a hitch cargo carrier is a great solution for that. This one specifically is capable of holding up to 400 pounds and it is just a great way to store some things. So we just have this here as sort of a demonstration point for our break-over point. This is a pretty lightweight cargo carrier. It's actually coming in at 29 pounds, but it's capable of supporting up to 500 pounds of stuff. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna take a look at how the Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22 Aluminum Cargo Carrier fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So an aluminum cargo carrier is awesome if you need a little extra space, but you don't wanna put your cargo inside of your vehicle, you want it more accessible, and you want the cargo carrier to be lightweight to make it easier to install. That's where this one comes in handy. It's 60 by 22, meaning you have a lot of width, an okay amount of length for the carrier, and it is lightweight and corrosion resistant, you can leave it on your car and not have to worry about it. We're gonna focus on how it fits here on our Equinox. And the main thing for me with cargo carriers is how easy is it to install, how much space do I have for cargo, can I open up the hatch on our Equinox So in our case here, this sits straight out, and if you wanna open up your hatch, look at how much space it takes to lift that door up. more

So this is gonna be a small, compact, sweet cargo carrier. If you have very limited space inside the garage or in your shed, but you still need extra space on your vehicle, then this might help out with that. It is made of aluminum, so it is gonna be lightweight, in fact, I measured the inside of your hatch, if you put the seats down, you might be able to fit this inside of your vehicle for transportation purposes. Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier that's 60 by 22 inches large fits on the 2022 Tesla Model Y. So if you need a lightweight and affordable way to expand your cargo capacity, this is gonna be a good way to do it. It is made of aluminum, but you also have a really large box shape here, and that way, if you're carrying things that you don't really want messing up the interior of your vehicle, you can put them right over here. For the way it works here on our Tesla Model Y, this is 60 inches by 22 inches. So your actually interior dimensions though, I like to measure from inside the rail, for width, it's gonna be a little bit past 58 inches, and then here it's gonna be about 20 1/2 inches. So that's how you can stack up your cargo. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Kia Sedona- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Compact Cargo Carrier from Flint Hill Goods. This is a hitch-mounted cargo carrier that'll mount into our two inch by two inch receiver tube and give us a place for our extra cargo, whether it's stuff that we just can't fit inside of the van, maybe we've got a lot of gear and we need to put some extra stuff out here, we can do that, or maybe we've got some things that we don't want to put inside the van, whether it be messy bags of concrete or mulch, things from the hardware store that might make a mess, you can leave it out here and not ever have to bring that mess inside, because it's a lot easier to just break out a hose and hose it down than it would be to vacuum out the inside of your vehicle. It is a steel carrier, it's gonna make it nice and strong, and the anti-rattle bolt in there is gonna keep things relatively sturdy, and it's gonna have a 500 pound weight capacity, so even though it's a bit of a smaller carrier, it's got plenty of strength to carry all that gear. As far as your space goes, from front to back, we're gonna be working with 17 1/2 inches of space, and side to side, we're gonna be working with 51 1/2 inches of space. So even though it's compact, it's still packs a punch, and you can fiddle out in here. more

This cargo carrier is gonna be kind of unique, in the sense that it doesn't have very high sidewalls. So if we have some things that we maybe don't need the highest side walls for, maybe something that overhangs the edges just a little bit, this might be a nice carrier for us.
