Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Tekonsha four-way flat vehicle wiring harness. Before we do that though, why don't we just check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you. If your Frontier didn't come equipped with factory wiring and you're wanting to pull a trailer around, this is going to allow you to plug your trailer in, that way all the lights will work. That way you're safe and legal, 'cause trailer lights are required in all the states. That way people know what's going on and they can see you. more

Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier we're gonna be showing you how to install the Tekonsha 7-Way Vehicle Wiring Harness but before we get into that, why don't we just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's gonna work for you. What this kit is going to do is utilize your factory connector plugs here at the back of your truck. That way you can plug into 'em and have a 7-way connector. So with this particular one, this'll be used in a couple of situations that I can think of. First one being, you know, use this as a replacement to your existing or your factory one. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Nissan Frontier 118266- Video
Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with 7-way trailer connector. That's going to be part number 118266. To help us with our installation, we're going to be using the Pollak mounting bracket, part number PK12711U.Here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. I do want to mention that our kit is not going to come with a mounting bracket, so we will need to pick one of those up so we can secure the connector at the back of the truck. Our wiring's going to give us a 7-way connector, that way we have all the required lights to get down the road safely, like our turn signals, stop lights, tail lights, and our reverse lights.It's also going to give us a 12 volt power source at the back of the 7-way, and the option to use an electronic brake controller if we choose to put one in later.The spring-loaded door along with the rubber gasket on the inside is going to prevent any kind of debris or moisture from getting inside. What I really like about our wiring is the fact that it is going to be a completely plug-and-play installation. more

Best 2018 Nissan Frontier Trailer Wiring Options- Video
Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best wiring options for your 2018 Nissan Frontier.So here we're gonna have the Tekonsha which is gonna give us a seven pole at the end of our vehicle. Then here we're gonna have the Curt which is also gonna give a seven pole. Then here we have the Tekonsha, which is gonna give us a four pole. Then finally the Curt that's gonna give us a four hole flat.Now the main difference between all our wiring kits is gonna be the end connector. Now both of our kits here, the Curt and the Tekonsha are both gonna give us a seven pole flat. Not only give us the required lights, but they're also gonna give us control of our breaks and a 12 volt power source coming out. more
