Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2024 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The great part is it's a hidden cross tube, so really the only thing that you're gonna see on the external part of the vehicle is gonna be your receiver tube opening while the rest of it lives behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look but all the usability of your hitch. Our receiver tube opening is two inch by two inch, which is gonna be kind of the standard. So when it comes to accessories, whether it be a ball mount, cargo carrier or bike rack, you're gonna have tons of options available. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, which is not included with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included. more

Best 2016 Toyota Tacoma Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. You're gonna have three hitch options for your Toyota Tacoma. We're gonna have the Draw-Tite, the etrailer, and the Curt. Now the biggest difference in my opinion in these hitches is gonna be how they install, especially if you're doing it yourself at home. The Draw-Tite hitch, the hardware's gonna install on the outside of the framework of the hitch and then the etrailer and the Curt are gonna install on the inside, which it helps to make the base of the hitch a little bit wider, but it's really hard to get a torque wrench in a socket to fit in this area. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Ford Ranger and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class III 2" Hitch Receiver. Adding a 2" hitch receiver to the back of your Ford Ranger's gonna allow you to do a couple different things. First up being you can pick up a ball mount, put it in here and pull small trailers with it. But if you're gonna do that, you may already have the four pole factory prep package under here that'll allow you to pull trailers without brakes. If you decide to pull a trailer with brakes, you'll want to add a seven pole on there. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. It's a really nice design because it's a hidden cross tube, which means the only thing that you're gonna see visible when installed is gonna be your 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening while the rest of it hides behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look. This size is gonna allow you to get a ton of different options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, and any of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now it does not come with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up your accessories they'll have a pin and clip included, but if you want to keep your accessories loaded on your vehicle and not have to worry about people walking away with your accessories, you can pick up a locking version of these pin and clips here at etrailer, which is a little bit more peace of mind. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, which is gonna be great if you plan on towing a trailer to be able to hook up your safety chains, whether it be a standard S hook or even a larger clevis style goes on here with no problem. more

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding the two-inch hitch receiver to the back of your Tacoma is gonna allow you to tow small trailers, put a bike rack on the back, or maybe even a cargo carrier. A lot of people think just because a truck has a bed doesn't mean that you're never gonna need any extra space, but I can tell you as a truck owner, you often run out of space for those bulkier items, like coolers or some larger luggage. So adding a cargo carrier on the back or making yourself some more room for your bikes on a bike rack is definitely gonna be a plus. Now, if you are planning on towing a trailer, it will have nice large safety chain loops here, so you can get safety chains of many different shapes and sizes. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Kia Carnival and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the etrailer Class III two inch hitch receiver. I have a couple of reasons of why you would want to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Carnival is because you wanna pull a trailer, you want to add a cargo carrier or a bike rack to be able to get those bikes to and from the trail. Many vans, a lot of 'em will have plenty of space in the back trunk area to be able to carry your gear and stuff like that when you're going on trips. But a lot of items like coolers are going to be more bulky and take up a lot of space. So adding a cargo carrier to the back is gonna allow you to carry those bulkier items on the outside and this hitch is gonna help you do that. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Chevy Colorado and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'mma show you how to install this CURT class three two inch hitch receiver. This hitch is gonna be designed to replace the hitch support that will come factory on your Colorado. Typically the Colorado will come with that bar that's underneath here. You'll see the two safety chain loops sticking out and then there's, you're supposed to drill a hole in the top, slide a goose or a hitch ball down through there and then tighten up the nut. And then you have a hitch mounted on your step. more

Today we have a 2018 Buick Envision, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Etrailer Class Three Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Buick Envision is going to allow you to load up bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even pull a small trailer. And if you decide to pull a small trailer, you're definitely gonna wanna add at least 4-pole wiring, if not 7-pole. That'll safely get the lighting signals from the vehicle back to the trailer. And your Envision is going to be pre-wired, so it kind of makes sense just to do it, because it's gonna have everything in there, and you just have to plug in your 4-pole. more

Best 2024 Buick Enclave Trailer Hitch Options- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the best hitches for the 2024 Buick Enclave. Well right off the bat, these hitches are going to be identical. The only thing that's going to separate them between the Curt and the Etrailer is going to be the paint job itself. For the Curt, we have a gloss black powder coat finish, and for the Etrailer, we're gonna have a triple carbide, matte black powder coat finish. Personally, I prefer the matte black finish that the Etrailer hitch has because it's proven to us that it's a very, very tough paint job, it kind of hides itself a little bit more, it's not as flashy as the gloss finish, but other than that, the hitches are going to be identical. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Subaru Outback and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back of your Outback, it's gonna allow you to have different accessories inserted into the hitch. That is bike racks, cargo carriers. There's not a whole lot of room on the inside to haul a bike anywhere, so putting a bike rack on the back will allow you to get several bikes, not just one, towing from the trailhead and hauling a cargo carrier on the back, it's gonna allow you to get some of those bulkier items out of the inside and onto the carrier so that you can fit more people inside for those longer trips. If you're wanting to tow a small trailer with this, it'd be great for the, those two inch ball mounts with the two inch shank that is. more

Before we do that though, let's take a moment, check this out and make sure it's going to work for you. So with the RDX, you know, there's several different hitches available and with this one it's going to have the smaller inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. Now because of that smaller size it is a little less noticeable but it's not quite as versatile as the other hitches available. So this might be a good solution for those of you that already have those inch and a quarter accessories and and really like them and don't wanna have to bother with getting new ones or something along those lines. more

This is gonna be a two-inch by two-inch hitch receiver, which will help to accommodate a lot of different bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts. If you plan on towing a trailer, I highly recommend picking up a seven-pole harness or a four-pole harness. When you're installing this hitch, it's gonna be a lot easier to put this wiring in place because it's just one simple connection behind the bumper. If you do it afterwards, you can still get by with it, but it is a lot easier when the fascia's off. more

Now one of the things I do like about this hitch is it fits behind your factory fascia panel, so if you're not towing, you can put your panel back on, you'll just retain your stock looks on your Buick. But, this is a class three receiver hitch, what that means is the opening here is two inches by two inches, square. It's got a reinforced collar on it. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Subaru Outback and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Now a big reason why you want to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Outback is so that you can haul bike racks or cargo carriers, get a little bit more space outside of the vehicle. The Outback is very difficult if you're trying to fit a bike into the back of it, especially after a long day of riding. You don't wanna put a muddy bike in the back of your car, so you throw that on a bike rack. Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2021 Toyota Prius- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2021 Toyota Prius, and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class One trailer hitch receiver. Now with this being a Class One trailer hitch receiver, we're gonna have an inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube, which is gonna be nice to haul those bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a small ball mount that will fit inside of a inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter hitch receiver tube. We'll have a nice large safety chain loop that'll fit different safety chains of many different sizes. You can see there we've got both on there so it'll fit a lot bigger one. You just wanna be sure that when you're towing a trailer, that you got those safety chain loops hooked up. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2019 BMW X5- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 BMW X5. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on the BMW, and it's really nice that it's a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, and that just means you're gonna have plenty of options when choosing bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts. Another pro of this hitch is it's a hidden cross tube, in fact, this one bolts up behind the impact bar, so the only thing that you're gonna see, is the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops. Now all of your accessories are going to stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, and this is not included with the hitch, a lotta times when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included. But if you wanna pick up a locking version, we have plenty of those available here at Etrailer, which is really nice if you plan on leaving your accessories on the vehicle, you can lock it in place, and know that no one's gonna walk away with your accessories Rolled-style safety chain loop is nice and open, allowing us to put a standard S hook, or even a larger clevis style, when hooking up your trailer. And speaking of towing, this one's rated at some pretty serious numbers. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Now right off the bat you're gonna notice this large opening in your bumper, all Traverses will have this opening and that is to be able to take this cover off so you can use your hitch or when you're not using it, pop it back into place and then you'll never see that hitch. So it's just like it was from the factory. Our hitch receiver will have a two inch by two inch opening, which is gonna be great for many different accessories. Two inch is going to be the most common size, so you can use it for bike racks, cargo carriers or if you want to tow a small trailer. more
