Today on our 2012 Toyota 4runner, we'll be test fitting the Deversi Tech Ball Mount, 6 inch drop or 7 inch rise, rated at 10,000 pounds, part number DTALMB6600. Now before I begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain a hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the anti-top of the receiver tube. Our measurement is 19 inches. This measurement may vary do to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. Now to begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes then use the included key to lock the ball mount into the hitch. We can then take the key out and unlock the ball mount itself to adjust the ball mount in the drop position. We can then use the key to unlock the ball mount from the hitch, flip it over into the rise position, lock it into position and then use the key again to adjust the ball mount in the rise position. That completes today's test fit for Deversi Tech Ball Mount, self locking adjustable aluminum ball, 6 inch drop or 7 inch rise, rated at 10,000 pounds, part number DTALMB6600 on our 2012 Ford 4runner. . more

Today we'll be reviewing part number BH40. This is the Brophy Heavy Duty Ball Mount, rated at 10,000 pounds. It's going to give us a drop of 4 inches, or a rise of 2 and 3 quarters of an inch. When choosing a hitch ball, you want to make sure that you choose a hitch ball where the shank does not exceed the ball hole diameter. For this particular mount, it's going to give us a ball hole diameter of an inch and a quarter, so this will use the hitch ball with an inch and a quarter shank diameter. It has a really nice black powder coat finish on it, so it is going to stand up well against rust, and corrosion. Let's go ahead and just install it. That way we can go over some of the basic measurements that we need to. You simply just take the mount, slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, until you get your pin holes in line with each other. Then, you can take a 5/8 inch pin and clip, or hitch pin and lock, and place it through, and secure it with the pin on the other side. Now, a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch pin and lock, those are sold separately. You can refer to our Website and type in part number PC3. It's going to refer you to what I'm using today, or you can look on the product's product page under related items to view some other options. Now, with the mount in this position, this is in the drop position. It's going to give us a drop of 4 inches. more

We know that by taking a measurement of the ball hold diameter, which measures 3/4 inch. This draw bar is designed to fit 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch class II hitches. Today we'll be reviewing part number PC80426. This is the Pro Series Tri-Ball Mount for 2 inches. The Tri-Ball Mount includes 3 different-size hitch balls on a hollow, square shank. It does have a nice closed piece of steel welded on to the back to help keep out any dirt and debris from entering the shank. This is going to let you tow trailers with different coupler sizes. To switch between the different ball sizes, you just remove the shank and then rotate it and then reinsert the drawbar to whatever hitch ball is going to best suit your application. Before we begin our test fit we'll first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside of top of the receiver tube. We'll get a measurement of about 24-1/4". Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or aftermarket accessories. We'll begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll then secure it with the pin and clip. more

Today on our 2014 Chevy Suburban we will be test fitting the Rapid Hitch adjustable aluminum ball mount kit with 2 chrome balls, part #AM3410. Before we begin our test fit, we're just going to get the hitch height of our Suburban. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. We get a hitch height of about 24 1/2 inches. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We will now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. We will then line up the pin holes, insert the pin through the pin holes and then secure it with the clip on the other side. With the ball platform as high as it can go, we will measure from the ground to the top of the platform. more

Today on our 2014 Chevy Suburban we'll be test fitting to CURT tri-ball mount for 2" hitches, part number C45001. We'll begin our test fit by first sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. After lining up to pinholes we'll insert our pin through the pinholes and secure it with the clip on the other side. With the ball in this position we have the 2-5/16" ball at the top. You can rotate it to the right to access the 2" ball or to the left to access the 1-7/8" ball. Since this ball mount has no drop or rise, if your trailer's ride height matches your vehicle's hitch height, this should be an appropriate ball mount for you. This ball mount allows you to haul different size boats or trailers without the need of any additional ball mounts. With our ball mount installed that will complete today's test fit of the CURT tri-ball mount, part number C45001, on our 2014 Chevy Suburban. more

Speaker: Today on our 2009 Nissan Murano we're going to be test fitting the Draw-Tite 2" Rise with 3/4" Drop Ball Mount. It offers a 7500 lb. Weight capacity and it's designed for use in hitches that are 2x2. It's part number is 2923. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank to the mouth into the receiver tube of our hitch, but before we do this let's get the hitch height. The hitch height is 3/8" and that's the measurement from the ground into the inside top edge of our receiver tube. We'll now slide the hitch in .. or the ball mount in rather. more

Were simply going to slide the shank of the ball mount into the receiver tube of our hitch.As we slide it in, we want to be sure that the pin hole in the shank of the ball mount lines up with the pinhole thats in the tube of our receiver hitch. more

Today, in our 2009 Nissan Murano, we're going to be test-fitting the convert-a-ball cushion ball mount which offers a 2-inch drop or a 3/4-inch rise and a 10,000 pound weight capacity. It's designed with a hollow shank, also designed for use in 2-inch by 2-inch hitches. Its part number is AMSC2. Before we begin our test-fit on the ball mount, we need to determine what's the hitch height is on our Murano. We've got a measurement of 15 3/8 inches. That's the measurement from the ground to the inside top edge of the receiver tube on our hitch. We'll now slide our ball mount in. As we do, we're going want to line up the hole in the ball mount with the pin hole in the tube. more

Today on our 2009 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at the convertible dual-cushioned ball mount. It's adjustable, it has 1" incremental adjustments, and it goes from a 7-1/2" drop to a 9" rise. Its Part Number is CAV-UM. The first thing we need to get is going to be the hitch height off our vehicle. It looks like we're going to have about 15-3/8" on our hitch height. Now this is going to vary a little bit depending on tire size and inflation and things of that nature. But to begin our test fit, we're going to slide the shank of our ball mount right into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we slide it in, we'll want to be sure that we get the pin holes lined up. more

Today on our 2014 Chevy Suburban, we'll be test fitting the Draw Tite ball mount with a three quarter inch rise or two inch drop rated at 7500 pounds part number 2923. Before we begin our test fit we'll first going to get the hitch height of our Suburban. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. We'll get a hitch height of about twenty four and a half inches. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes we'll insert the pin to the pin holes and secure the clip in the other side. We'll then measure from the ground to the of the ball platform getting a measurement of about twenty two inches. We can then flip the ball mount over into the rise position, and again measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about twenty five inches. more

Before we begin our test fit we'll first going to get the hitch height of our Suburban. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. We'll get a hitch height of about twenty four and a half inches. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or market accessories. We'll begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pinholes we'll need to turn the key which will extend out the integrated hitch pin which will secure the ball mount into the hitch. We'll then take the key out and go over to the ball platform. more

Today on our 2014 Chevy Suburban, we'll be test fitting the Curt Multi-ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2-inch hitches, part number D900. We'll begin our test fit in the draw position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll insert our pin through the pin holes, and secure the clip on the other side. With the ball platform as low as it can go, we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting a measurement of about 19-1/2 inches. We can also remove the silver pin and rotate the ball platform to the left to access the two-inch ball, or to the right to access the 1-7/8-inch ball. Or keep it like this, where the 2-5/16-inch ball is on top. We can now remove the two silver pins on the downward portion of the ball mount, and raise the platform up as high as it can go. more
