Howdy there, neighbors, Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be looking at some custom wiring harnesses for four-pole connectors on our 2014 Toyota Sienna. I would say the Tekonsha and the CURT are our best option as far as those custom wiring connectors. Nothing much as far as difference when it comes to functionality, they perform the exact same job the exact same way. Both highly rated for the vehicle, so great options either way, just kind of depends on some variances and let's go through those real quick. Just to demonstrate the similarities as far as the connectors, I've got a few here that are out. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Toyota Sienna

Today in our 2014 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing a Tekonsha T one vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. Part number 118498.Speaker 2: Okay, right now we have our wire drake out of our trunk area to the side of our latch. We're going to go ahead and close our trunk. As you can see, we have an adequate length wire to hang down here next to our hitch, to connect to our trailer. Once we hook up to our trailer here, and plug our lighting in our electrical connector, from our trailer into our wiring harness, then we're ready to hit the rode. When we arrive at our destination, we unhook from our trailer, and we're ready to store our wiring back inside the vehicle. We'll plug the dust cover back over our connector here. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Toyota Sienna C56106

Today on our 2014 Toyota Sienna we'll be installing the CURT t-connector vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C56106. To begin our install we're first going to open up the hatch. We need to remove the two rear taillight assemblies. Each assembly has two fasteners that will have to be removed in order to take the taillight assembly out. You can make it a little easier if you use a flat blade screwdriver but we're just going to use a plastic trim panel tool, get in between the taillight and the body of the vehicle, gently prying it free. Then we'll go ahead and turn the taillight assembly over. more
