Now, some of the features that this tow bar offers kind of put it above some of the other ones that are out there. And that's really gonna be your non-binding, which is pretty much gonna mean once this is locked out and you're ready to unhook the vehicle, you can simply push this down and it'll allow you to pull these arms back, where binding tow bars are kind of a pain. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster Nightawk tow bar on a 2022 Jeep Cherokee. Now, as you can see this attachment point might look a little bit different than your typical Roadmaster, and really all the difference is is this is set up for a Blue Ox. So, if you have a Blue Ox space plate, you're gonna wanna make sure to select the Nighthawk that has the blue ox attachments and that way it goes together. And that's really the only difference between the rest of the tow bar is just gonna be this attachment point. Now, the Nighthawk is the premier tow bar that's out on the market and it's got all the bells and whistles and overall it's just super high quality in pretty much every point. And a lot of that comes down to just Roadmaster quality, but a lot of your touch points and just the mechanics of it overall feel really good. more

RoadMaster Blackhawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over the Road Master Black Hawk Two All Terrain Tow Bar, here on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. So the Black Hawk is really gonna be the perfect pick for the Silverado here because this is a 10,000 pound rated tow bar which we're gonna need for such a large vehicle here. So a lot of the other tow bars on the market are gonna max out much lower. Some of them 5,000, 7,500 pounds. Granted, we might be able to get away with a 7,500 pound tow bar here on the Silverado, but having that extra 10,000 pound capacity is really gonna give us peace of mind here that we're not maxing out the capacity of our tow bar with our big truck. So in regards to compatibility, this particular tow bar is gonna be specifically designed for the Road Master Direct Connect style base plates, which are what we have here. more

Hello, neighbors! It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar on a 2009 Freightliner XC motorhome. Now, this tow bar is rated at 6,000 pounds, so for our Equinox that we're hooked up to today, shouldn't be a problem, and it's gonna open up that window to any vehicle to be flat towed as long as it's under that 6,000 pound rating. Now, there's gonna be five main components when flat towing a vehicle. Starting on the vehicle side, the first thing you're gonna need is your base plate. The base plate's gonna allow you to put these arms in place, and that way you can connect to your tow bar so you have that solid connection with your base plate. The connection between the RV and the vehicle, being the tow bar, is going to be that solid connection, and that's where we have our Falcon. more

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2019 Mini Cooper- Video
Hi there Mini owners. Today in your 2019 Mini Cooper S, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Blue Ox's Alpha tow bar. And this is what our tow bar looks like when it's installed. The Alpha 2 tow bar is going to be a non-binding tow bar, which is an important piece to be able to disconnect your tow bar without any additional tools. We can see here that these levers are located on the arms of our tow bar, and when we get to our destination, if we're not perfectly straight when we park our motor home and our vehicle, and if we're not on perfectly level ground between the two, like if your vehicle here is a little bit curved this way, motor home's a little bit different, that can make removing the pins extremely difficult because once you drive off, they extend and lock it into an extended position. To release it from that locked position, you can press down on the lever. more

Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar Installation - 2021 Ford Ranger- Video

Now, this tow bar is gonna be compatible with your curt base plate or your blue lock's base plate. So it has this style here, and your tow bar is just simply gonna make the connection between that base plate, and the hitch of the RV. Now, this tow bar is a pretty heavy duty tow bar in the fact that it can handle up to 7,500 pounds of that towed vehicle. So, our Ranger is well within that weight spec. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Rambler Tow Bar on a 2018 Coachmen Mirada. Now, this tow bar is gonna be compatible with your Curt Base Plate or your Blue Ox Base Plate. So it has this style here. And your tow bar is just simply gonna make the connection between that base plate and the hitch of the RV. And this tow bar is a pretty heavy duty tow bar, in the fact that it can handle up to 7,500 pounds of that towed vehicle. more

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Coachmen Mirada Motorhome- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Alpha 2 tow bar on a 2018 Coachmen Mirada. Now this tow bar is gonna be great for your etrailer, Demco or Blue Ox base plates and you can actually get adaptable arms for the base plate of your road master to work with this as well. Now there's five main components when flat towing a vehicle, and starting on the vehicle side, you're going to have your base plate and that's simply going to attach to the frame or the bumper support of the vehicle to give us dirty connection point for your tow bar to connect. Now on your base plate, a lot of times you're also gonna have your safety chain loop integrated as well. So the next point that we need is our tow bar and that's gonna be the connection point between that base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now you're also gonna have those safety cables like I mentioned before, with your safety chain loops here, and these are gonna criss-cross under here to the RV hitch, and that way, in case of an accidental disconnect, you still have these cables holding onto the vehicle. more

Hi there, Buick owners. Today, on your 2021 Buick Encore GX, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's Nighthawk tow bar. And this is what our Nighthawk tow bar looks like when it's installed. You can see that it does light up and that's one of the features that makes the Nighthawk here the flagship tow bar from Roadmaster. Other things that's really nice about the tow bar is it is a bit longer than the other tow bars and that increased distance just helps the vehicle track behind the motorhome a little bit better.
