Today on our 2017 GMC Sierra 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the B&W Companion OEM Fifth Wheel with Slider for Chevy and GMC Towing Prep Package, part number BWRVK3770. Here's what our fifth wheel with slider looks like when it's fully installed. And since we have a short-bed truck, it's going to allow us to tow a fifth-wheel trailer. And have enough clearance to make those turns, without having to worry about making contact with our cab. If we come to the handle right here, start in the lock position, and we can rotate it to the unlock position. Then we're going to have 12 inches of travel so the fifth wheel can go farther back towards the tailgate. We can make our turn, and then once we straighten out, we can again come to the handle, unlock it, and it'll slide back into the towing position. Now this fifth wheel slider is designed to work with the GM and Chevrolet factory prep package, and that's what these handles here are. It's just going to sit in and lock into place. more

Curt Fifth Wheel - Fixed Fifth Wheel - C16266 Review- Video

Today we're going to look at the Curt Q25 Dual Jaw Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with the rails and the universal installation kit. Has a 25,000-pound weight capacity. Now, this fifth wheel hitch will mount in your truck bed so that you can tow your fifth wheel trailer. This does use the two jaw locking system here, which provides a nice 360-degree jaw to kingpin contact because that'll give you less rattle, more security than the slide-bar models. Today, on our 2017 Ram 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with R16 Slider, part number C16521. We can turn it and our 5th wheel's going to slide back 12" to give us extra clearance so we don't have to worry about our 5th wheel trailer hitting our cab. The slider is a nonbinding slider, so no matter what angle you're pulling your trailer at, it's going to be able to slide freely back and forth. Whenever we're done making that tight turn and getting around the corner, we can straighten our trailer out, straighten our truck out, and our slider's going to slide right back and lock into position. Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Review - 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video

Today on our 2016 Ford F350 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, part number RP30126. Here's what our base rails look like fully installed. They're going to allow us to tow with a fifth wheel trailer hitch and if we want, when we're not towing we're going to be able to remove this and still have full access to our bed. Once we have our fifth wheel removed, they even provide us with little caps to put into our puck system. That way we don't have to worry about any dirt and debris or even water getting down in there and making any rust and any problems with our fifth wheel getting in. As you can see, with the caps on and our fifth wheel out of the way, we still have full bed access and we can inaudible 00:47 put anything in or get anything out of our bed that we may need. Now, the way we're going to have full bed access and not have any rails inside our bed is because they're going to mount under the bed and since it's vehicle specific, it is going to take a little bit less time to install and require a little bit less drilling that universal kits. This is a great alternative if your truck doesn't already come equipped with the factory prep package because not only is it going to allow you to tow with a fifth wheel hitch, but it's also going to keep your bed nice and clean and give it that factory look. more

Today on our 2012 Ford F250, we're going to be taking a look at the Reese Titan 16 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number RP30866. So, here we have our fifth wheel installed along with our base rails, which are sold separately. This fifth wheel is gonna work with all industry standard base rails that mount inside the truck bed. Now, this fifth wheel features a 16,000 pound gross trailer weight limit. That's the amount that it could pull and it also features a 4,000 pound vertical load limit. The head on the fifth wheel itself does swivel side-to-side and back-to-front to allow you to get the right angle when hooking up to your trailer. The way that we're gonna hook this up to your trailer is if you come over to this handle, rotate it up and then pull it out, you'll see the jaws are going to open. more

Here's what our 5th wheel hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to allow us to tow a 5th wheel trailer, and even though we have a short bed truck, that's where the slider's going to come in and it gives it that little bit of extra clearance. We come to the driver's side of our hitch here, the vertical bar here, it's going to be a latch for our slide. Now, this red indicator is letting us know that it's unlocked. When it's in the unlocked position, it's going to allow our hitch to slide back so when we make a turn, we don't have to worry about our 5th wheel trailer making contact with our cab. Then when we're ready to straighten back out, the hitch will slide back into the towed position, and we can lock the handle. Now here on our slider on the other side, it's going to show a green indicator letting us know that we're ready to tow. more

Demco Hijacker Underbed Rail Kit Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we'll be having a look at and installing the Demco Underbed Rail and Installation Kit from Demco Hijacker UMS 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches, part number DM8551008. All right, here's what our Demco Underbed System looks like installed. As you can see, it doesn't take up any of our valuable bed space. It's completely recessed underneath the bed of our truck, and when we're ready to put in a 5th wheel or a 5th wheel slider it'll just drop in to our puck system. This almost converts our truck to almost like a factory 5th wheel or gooseneck prep package, where they have the pucks underneath the truck. Now, when we're not towing it does come with these plugs that you can snap down into place to keep any dirt and debris from entering down into the rails, making it difficult for your slider or 5th wheel to go into place. When you're ready to tow, they lift out real easily. more

Husky Silver Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Review HT31326-31196- Video

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Silver Series 16K Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider. Its part number is HT31326-31196. Now, to operate the slider portion, we'll have that right here, and what we'll do here is lift up on our lever. As we do it, it's going to rotate our locking plate up and out of the way, and then that allows us to slide that back, reengage the lever there. Then, we can lock it in that position for a maneuvering position. Now, this delivers 10" of travel, so that's going to get the front of our camper 10" further away from the rear of our vehicle. It's going to make it nice at the low speeds only when we're trying to maneuver into our parking spaces, maybe camp sites and things like that. more

Demco Fifth Wheel - Fixed Fifth Wheel - DM8550043 Review- Video

Today we're going to take a look at the Demco Recon Single Jaw 5th Wheel trailer hitch with a 21,000 pound weight capacity. Now this 5th wheel hitch will mount in your truck bed so you can tow your 5th wheel trailer. It uses a nice wraparound single piece jaw that'll provide a secure connection. It gives you 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact. That'll give you less rattle, more security, than the slide bar jaws. If you notice in front right up here, there's a 3/4-inch thick solid steel locking bar, which will reinforce the connection of your coupling trailer, and that'll automatically lock into place when the jaw closes. It does use a double pivot hitch head, which will ease hookup, helps limit chucking. more

Today on our 2017 Ram 2500 we'll be installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit, part number BWGNRK1384. All right, here's what our gooseneck looks like installed. As you can see, it's designed to work properly with our factory setup on our truck here. There was really no modification to the truck, just a couple minor drilling locations, and then it bolts in place where the factory prep package will be. Now that we've shown you the underside, we'll show you what it looks like on top. All right, here we are in the bed of the truck, and you can see what it looks like installed. Curt Fifth Wheel - Sliding Fifth Wheel - C16621 Review- Video

Today, we are going to review part number C16621. This is the CURT Q16 Fifth-Wheel Trailer Hitch with the R16 slider, the base rails and the installation kit all included and this has a sixteen thousand pound weight capacity. Now, this heavy duty fifth-wheel trailer hitch has the dual jaw, has a nice pivoting head and on the very back here it uses a color-coded lock indicator to give you superb safety and security. Now, the two jaw locking system right here provides a three-hundred and sixty degree jaw-to-king pin contact and because of that, it'll give you less rattle, more security than a lot of the Slide-Moore models. This has a self-aligning wide head opening right here you can see for a nice simple hook-up. The way they do that is they use a fully articulating torsion head which gives you controlled coupling and a nice stable, quiet ride. Now, there is two lube points, which for easy access, grease Zerk fittings and they are located on the front of each jaw. more

Now this is the replacement head unit that will fit the Curt Q16 5th wheel trailer hitches. Includes everything shown here on the table; includes the hitch assembly. It includes the loop plate that goes on the king pin of your 5th wheel. It does include the bolts and knots that are used to attached these cross member to the legs of the hitch and includes a nice booklet of detailed instructions, which shows some nice pictures and detailed instructions on how to install it correctly. This will provide a 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact, has the dual jaws right here. Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Ram 3500- Video

Today on our 2017 Ram 3500, we'll be installing the B&W Turnover Ball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, with custom installation kit, part number BWGNRK1314. Now when we don't want to tow our gooseneck trailer and we want to store our ball in a stored position, so we have full access to our truck bed, you just pull the handle out, latch in position, raise it up, grab it, grab this handle here, drop it on down, and you can see it sits flush with the bed. Let's put it back in our tow mode now. Pull it out, flip it over, drop it in. I'll secure our latch real quick. Move it to the right, push it on in. Here with the ball latch inaudible 00:00:52, you can see the ball's not going anywhere, so we hook our trailer up, we couple onto the ball, hook our safety chains up to our loops. more
