Recommended Adapter to Tow 5th Wheel Trailer with 2011 Ram With Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
We have a 32foot 5th Wheel with a RV2 9inch offset adapter. The #s for Fabex 560 are on the original hitch plate. Want to know if your Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter-Lippert 1621 is compatible to our trailer. We have the in bed set up. Also its a Ram 2500, Longbed. Will this work? Thank you

The Gooseboxes are only compatible with certain OEM pin boxes.
The Reese # RP85FR is compatible with the Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD Fabex PB-600 Series OEM pin boxes. The # RP94716-61301 will replace the Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes. Reese doesn't offer a Goosebox for the Fabex 560.
The great news is that you do have some options. Your best possible option would be to use a fifth wheel hitch that connects to the gooseneck ball hole, however this option is only compatible with certain brands of gooseneck hitch. If your gooseneck hitch is a B&W Turnover Ball, you can use their Companion Hitch, part # BWRVK3500.
