RV Trailer Hitch For a Class-C 21 Foot Winnebago
Question:
I have a 1992 Toyota & Winnebago motor home 21 foot I want to put a trailer hitch just to install a rear carrier rack , So I assume the normal truck hitch would not work. How can we resolve this simply? Thanks

RV style hitches can be bolted or welded on your Winnebago frame whereas most vehicles will have mounting holes preset for trailer hitches. I wouldn't recommend using a vehicle trailer hitch. The Curt hitch # 13086 you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 1992 Toyota pickup.
For your motor home, the most likely hitch to fit is the Curt adjustable width trailer hitch receiver # 13703. It's a Class-III hitch and can be adjusted from 22-72 inches in width. It will have a gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 pounds and tongue weight of 350 pounds.
Please note that the trailer hitches rated tongue weight will reduce by the weight of the empty cargo carrier. For example, If the tongue weight is 350 pounds, and carrier weighs 80 pounds, then you can only load 270 pounds on your carrier.
If you don't have a hitch carrier, I included a link to several cargo carrier options for you to look at.
I also included an installation video for you as well.
