Where Do the Black and Blue Wires on 30717 Attach To on a 1999 Ford F-250
Question:
have a 30717 way to that I have been using on my 99 ford f250 superduty by plugging into the 4 flat. I purchased a teckonsha primus iq brake controller and the direct wiring adapter for it to plug into so my question is where does the blue wire on 30717 go to then?

If your truck has the brake controller port underneath the dash, then there will be some wiring towards the rear of the truck that you will need to splice into. The blue wire on part # 30717 needs to be spliced into the blue wire on the factory tow wiring. We have an instructional page that shows how this is done that I have linked to below. You can also splice the black wire on the 30717 into the orange wire on the truck for a 12V power source.
