Timbren Front Suspension Spring Rubbing Shock Absorber on 1991 Dodge Ram Cummins 4x4
Question:
The rubber Unit rubs my shock. The Unit has an angled mount built in. Which way do I turn the Unit to work properly. Front, Rear, Driver ,Passenger side. Can I make my own mount and move the Unit back an inch or so to clear my shock .Maybe move the top shock mount back an inch or two to clear the rubber unit. Thank you, Rick

According to Timbren, the mount should be turned so that the underside of the rubber spring sits as flat as possible against the leaf spring. The Timbren unit is designed to work with shocks that are similar in size to what the truck was factory equipped with. If you're using aftermarket shocks with tubes that are of larger diameter than stock, it might explain the interference problem you're having.
