According to one of our primary resources for flat-towing information, Roadmaster Engineering, the 2015 Honda Fit is flat towable. However, your new Fit owner's manual is the best place to check for any cautions or special requirements for flat-towing your exact version of the 2015 Fit Sport.
We offer Roadmaster base plates for the manual transmission version of the 2015 Honda Fit Sport. That is their EZ4 Series Base Plate # RM-521569-4. Please refer to the linked instructions at right. A popular tow bar for use with these base plates is the Roadmaster Falcon 2, part # RM-520, shown in the linked video. For the CVT version Blue Ox offers base plate # BX2261.
Safe and legal flat towing requires a number of components apart from the base plates. A tow bar, safety cables, wiring kit and supplementary braking system are also necessary. The linked articles at right provide lots of detail about each of the items needed to flat tow a vehicle safely and legally.
In general, using base plates and a tow bar from the same manufacturer will reduce the need for any adapters that might otherwise be needed to mate, for example, a Blue Ox tow bar with a Roadmaster base plate. An article with adapter information is linked for you.
