Recommended Hitch For Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 For 2006 Through 2012
Question:
I AM IN THE MARKET FOR AN SRT8 JEEP AT THE SAME TIME RESEARCHING CLASS THREE HITCH INFORMATION. IS THERE A CLASS THREE HITCH AVAILABLE FOR THE YEARS BETWEEN 06-12. I AM NOT CONCERNED ABOUT EXHAUST MODIFICATIONS AS LONG AS I CAN GET A CLASS III. FOR EXAMPLE LOOKING AT A 2010 SRT8 JEEP WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS LIKE I SAID I AM WILLING TO MAKE EXHAUST MODIFICATIONS AS LONG AS I CAN GET A DIRECT FIT AS IN BOLT TO FRAME AND THEN TAKE CARE OF TAILPIPES. THANK-YOU VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO RESPONSE.

In 2011, changes were made to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 frame and we do have hitches for both 2011 and 2012 that are Class lll hitches.
I recommend the Draw-Tite, part # 75699. This is a Class lll hitch and has a 2 inch receiver opening. I have attached an installation video for this hitch on a 2012 Grand Cherokee you can check out.
Unfortunately, the only hitch we have available that is designed to work with a 2007 through 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a Class l hitch, part # C11103. For the 2006 there was no hitch available for the SRT-8 model.
