Replacement Wiring Harness for 2002 Ford Escape
Question:
I have an 02 ford escape xlt with a trailer hitch on it with wiring. The connector on the vehicle side is damaged and/or rusted out. Is this a simple replacement? I believe the wiring runs to a connector box sitting inside the right rear tail light. Thanks!!!

If you have the Ford Escape equipped with a tow package you will want the Plug-N-Tow Wiring harness, part # C55255.
For the Escape without the tow package, the T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118343 would be the correct fit.
The T-1 Harness would install inline using the existing connections between the factory wiring harness and the taillight assemblies. We have a video of this part being installed on a 2002 Escape that I have linked below.
