3 Step Pull Out Step Recommendation for a Camper Trailer
Question:
Replacing the steps on my trailer. One is 27 1/2 inch wide. I want 3 steps with a 7inch rise. It looks like the LC 341501 will work for this application. I also need a 3 step with 7inch rise to take the place of a 2 step that I have now on the other door. The bolt on width of it is smaller at 25 1/4 . Do you have anything that will work for my second set of steps? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Lippert Steps part # LC432687 will fit easily to replace the first set of steps that you referenced as it is also 27-1/2 inches wide.
Your other set of stairs may require a bit of modification to get the # LC341501 to install in the same location. If you have room for it you could use the Outriggers part # LC301704 to install the steps as they will bolt to the sides of the steps and give you different installation options depending on how your trailer is set up.
Otherwise you might need to take the steps to a qualified welder to have them welded on.
