I was able to find an online version of the owner's manual for the 2014 Ford F-150 pickup and on page 282 it indicates that tire chains are not to be used on specific tire sizes:

P265/60R18
P275/65R18
LT275/65R18
LT315/70R17
P275/55R20
P275/45R22

If your F-150 has one of these tire sizes on it then you should follow the owner's manual prohibition and not use chains except in cases where state law specifically requires them.

But if you have another size on the truck you can use low-clearance S-Class type chains as noted in the manual. Use the link provided at right to select your tire size to see chains that will fit. Once you click on your tire size you can then use the filters in the left-hand margin to narrow the results to just S-Class chains.

You can use one pair on the drive wheels only, or two sets on all four wheels to improve traction, steering and braking, as long as the vehicle manual does not prohibit this. You might review the two linked articles for additional information to consider.

Note that all tire chains require reduced driving speeds, typically 30-35 mph maximum.
