Best Bike Carrying Options That Wont Damage Rear Wiper of 2011 Volvo XC60

Presently we have a Thule Rack that mounts on the rear. The problem is we had to take the wiper off because of the rack was in the way. Wiper came on automatically and we broke it Are there other racks better suited so we can leave the wiper on?

Any of the trunk mounted bike racks that are a fit for your XC60 will interfere with the use of the rear wiper. Is it possible to disable the automatic feature of the wiper? If so, that's what I'd recommend you do.
Your other option would be to install a receiver hitch like part # 13268 and use the hitch as an attachment point for a hitch mounted bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Commuter, part # HR2500. The Commuter provides softly padded cradles to protect your bike, as well as a built in anti-rattle hitch lock. A lower priced but still excellent option would be the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63360. A hitch/cable lock combo is available separately as part # S64031.
