Supplemental Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2003 Toyota Highlander

Dealership at first replaced the hose after I brought vehicle in for a small leak -front left side of vehicle. Trans fluid leaking from hose/aux trans cooler. Brought vehicle back after small drip continued. Now advised and actually showed me the trans cooler pulled away from its mounting causing a stress leakinch , and the unit had to be replaced. I asked if they couldnt just reattach the cooler -mechanic said no - it actually tore away from its mounting. Replacement cost for the aux trans cooler: $565.00 plus installation cost. I researched the cost and found many trans cooler new well under a $100.00. Question: whats the proper replacement aux trans cooler for my 2003 toyota highlander limited and the cost. Thank you,

The best way to pick out a replacement transmission cooler for your 2003 Toyota Highlander would be to measure the available area in front of your radiator and pick the largest one that will fit.
