Weight Distribution Recommendation for a V-Nose Trailer, 2015 Forest river Windjammer 3008W
Question:
I have a 2015 Forest river Windjammer 3008W. Because it is a V nose I understand that there may be an issue with the sway control and trunnion bar chain hookups. What WD system will work

We have exactly what you would need to be able to install a weight distribution system on your 2015 Forest river Windjammer 3008W that has a V nose trailer. The chain hangers part # RP58305 will allow you to install chain hangers on the side of your frame that has the V-nose of your trailer above it.
Typically weight distribution system chain hangers will need to go above the frame member to be able to install on the trailer, this kit attaches to the side of the frame and doesn't require clearance above the frame so they would work very well for you.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached an FAQ on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well.
Once you know what your tongue weight is check out the link I attached to the right that has all of the systems we offer. You will need to select your tongue weight from the filters on the left side of the page and the correct systems will be listed.
