Trailer Hitch, Hitch Bike Rack and Anti-Rattle Lock Fits on 2014 Toyota Prius
Question:
I would like to purchase item # 24847 Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4, item # 59508 Rola NV2 Hitch Mounted 2 Bike Rack and item # 63147 Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 1-1/4inch Hitches - 2-3/8inch Span for my 2014 Toyota Prius. My questions are: Will the receiver lock work with the trailer hitch and the bike rack mentioned above?, and Will the Highland SportWing bike rack work for my Prius Not the M or C model to carry 2 mountain bikes? Thank You!

The Draw-Tite 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch that you referenced, their part # 24847, is a confirmed fit on the 2014 Prius Two, Three and Four. This light-duty hitch installs on your Prius without welding or drilling, using the hardware that is supplied with the hitch. Installation requires you to temporarily lower the exhaust from its rubber hanger (a simple process) for better access to the mounting points. The only specialized tool needed is a torque wrench like # ALL944001, which is needed to ensure the supplied fasteners are tightened to the correct value as specified in the instructions; these are linked to your right. The hitch will deliver its rated performance only when installed as directed by the manufacturer.
To assist your hitch installation I have linked a video as well as two helpful articles. Please note that a Class I hitch can carry only two bikes - no exceptions - even if the attached rack can hold more bikes.
For a hitch mounted 2-bike rack I recommend the Curt # C18085 As long as your two mountain bikes together do not weigh more than 90-lbs, then this carrier is a great choice for use with the Anti-Rattle Lock # SHP2082.
