Replacement Chain Hangers For Older Blue Ox Weight Distribution System

Question:

I have the older style Blue Ox WD hitch manually adjustable head and without rotating latches and cannot find installation instructions anywhere. Do you have replacement hangers available? Thanks

I imagine the weight distribution system you have is the Blue Ox BXW1001, which has a 1,000 lb tongue weight capacity. The older system had the manually adjustable head and had chain hangers that did not have the rotating feature. We do not carry this weight distribution system any longer but do have some components that can be used with your system. Unfortunately, the chain hangers are not available any longer. What I suggest is to replace the system with a system that also has sway control.

If you decide you want to replace the system, I recommend part # BXW1000. This is a trunnion bar Clamp-on system that also features sway control. The sway control is a great feature that helps prevent sway caused by high winds and passing traffic. I have attached a product review video for this system you can check out.
