Will a Sidewinder Fit B&W Companion Hitch for a 2014 Ford F-350 with Factory Prep Package

I have a 2014, Diesel F350 4x4 shortbed with a 5th wheel prep package. I am purchasing a 2015 Grand Design Solitude 369RL in a few months. I would like to buy a Companion OEM hitch and use a Sidewinder on the trailer. Will this work? and if yes, which Sidewinder is appropriate?

B&W Companion hitch # BWRVK3300 does fit the factory prep package on your 2014 Ford F-350. And it can be used with a Sidewinder since this version of the hitch fits in the 4 pucks in the truck bed. Models of the Companion that just fit in the Gooseneck ball hole are not compatible with Sidewinders.

But to determine if there is as Sidewinder that fits the trailer I need to know the manufacturer of the pin box and the model number. This information should be on a sticker or plate on the pin box. Then you can use the chart at the bottom of the Sidewinder help article I linked to the right to determine if there is one that will fit.

If there isn't a Sidewinder that will fit or if you want another option, you can use the Reese Elite Series slider # RP30144 which also fits the factory prep package. With it, you would not need a Sidewinder since the hitch has 10 inches of travel.
