Will Trailer Hitch from 2000 Toyota Echo Fit 2007 Subaru Impreza
Question:
Friend giving me hitch from 2000 echo for my 07 Imprea. different part #s ,but will it or is it same model and will it fit?

Trailer hitch fits are vehicle/year/version-specific. The hitches that fit your friend's 2000 Toyota Echo, including the Curt # C11289, do not fit your 2007 Subaru Impreza. I did check each of the hitches offered for both vehicles and unfortunately none are common.
At right you will find two links, one to the trailer hitch page for each of the two vehicles. The only thing in common among them is that they are all light-duty Class I hitches.
I cannot recommend trying to install a hitch on a vehicle for which it is not intended. This could result in an undetermined loss of capacity and could lead to hitch failure.
