Prodigy RF Brake Controller Pairing Issues, Flashes NC After Controller Pairs
Question:
Hi, I have a 2 year old system on my horse trailer and car set up. It has been pairing and working great. But then while towing a few months ago it kept flashing n.c.after pairing while driving. I would pull over repair and then it would flash N.C. Now it simply wont pair. I have had a technician out and tested the connectors and al have power and the brakes work. When it is connected, I still have running lights and signals, but no brakes. and it wont pair.

It sounds like you have a corrosion problem on the brake output circuit on one of the 7-way connections made between the rear of your tow vehicle and your trailer. I would recommend you unplug each of the connectors (one at the rear of the tow vehicle, one that plugs in to the # TK94FR, and then the one from the trailer that plugs into the # TK94FR) and clean off the pins so that they make better contact.
If that doesn't fix the problem check the grounds of the brake assemblies as well as the wiring that runs from the connector to them looking for corrosion or shorts and fix as necessary.
Another possibility is that your brake magnets have gone out on your trailer. I attached an FAQ on how to troubleshoot them.
