Tire Chains with Good Ride Quality for a 2012 Ford Focus
Question:
How does this tire ride on snow and clear surface? Are there any models that ride better?

You could say that the smaller the chains links, and/or the less coverage of the chains on the tread the better the ride would feel. But that also would mean less grip, which is what you would really need to be concerned about if chains are required.
The Thule chains, # TH00023095, have small links but good coverage on the tire so they offer a good amount of traction. You will notice any chains you have on the tires though. Once you have reached clear pavement you will want to remove chains because on clear pavement they will reduce traction.
You will also want to consult the vehicle owners manual for specific information on the use of tire chains. I have included a link to the right to a couple of tire chain help articles as well.
