I spoke with my contact at Thule and if you have a factory spoiler on your 2014 Nissan Maxima, the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, part # TH45JV is a good fit for you.

This carrier has the patented FitDial system that makes installation easy and also features the One Key System that deters thieves and secures the carrier to the vehicle and also secures the bikes to the carrier.

If you are planning on carrying any bikes with alternative frames like kids or women's bikes, I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and handlebar stem and allows the bike to ride more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
