Trailer Wiring 4-Way Harness Recommendation for a 2014 Ford Focus
Question:
I want to know if my car comes from the factory with a plug to connect this adapter for trailer lights? I dont want to have to tap into my brake lights as that will void my warranty.

Expert Reply:
The Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118548 that you referenced can install on your 2014 Ford Focus without voiding the warranty of the vehicle. The connectors will plug inline with the taillight harness of your vehicle and will provide you with a 4-way for trailer taillights.
I attached a set of installation instructions to the right for you to check out as well.
For a hitch I would recommend the Curt Hitch part # C11158, ball mount # 3593, 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256, 2 inch ball # 19258.
