I would like to know what the price the hitch is for a 1998 GMC Sonoma. I would like to purchase one, that is why I am asking for the price of one.

We offer several trailer hitch receivers for the 1998 GMC Sonoma. The correct one for your Sonoma will depend on the particular version and type of bumper installed. The four possibilities are: Factory Step Bumper, ZR2, Sportside with Non-Towing Bumper and Factory Roll Pan Bumper.
