Could the Camco Hitch-Mounted Flagpole Holder # CAM51611 Carry a Flag While Driving
Question:
Will this mount with stand highway speeds up to 65 mph while holding a 3foot x 5foot flag

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Camco Hitch-Mounted Flagpole Holder # CAM51611 is intended for flying a flag while parked. But based on it's construction it should have no problem handling 65 mile per hour wind.
I believe the challenge would be how to secure the flag to the holder while driving. It has a set screw but in order for it to be effective the flag pole would have to be pretty close to 2 inches in diameter.
You would want to make sure the flag and pole you are using are rated for use while driving. Your local DOT would be a good place to check to see if driving with that large of a flag is legal.
