how to you measurethe back end of your receiverand tow car to find out if you need what size down hitch you need

You want the tow bar to be as level as possible to tow the vehicle safely. You will need to measure from the ground to the bottom of the base plate arms that attach to the tow bar (when parked on level ground). Then measure from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on the RV.

If the RV receiver is higher the difference is the amount of drop you will need. I have included a link to the various adapters we have.

The Roadmaster BlackHawk part #RM-422 is a 10k tow bar so for a set of safety cables rated for this and are the proper length you'd want the part #RM-653 which is what Roadmaster recommends.

The only way to purchase the RoadMaster Blackhawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar #RM-422 that you referenced is with the crossbar. Check out the review video I attached for this tow bar for more info on it.

Your truck would be pretty heavy so you'd want to go with a higher rated tow bar like the Roadmaster Blackhawk part #RM-422 which has a 10k capacity.
