Troubleshooting Wiring Harness for 2010 Lexus RX 350

Question:

I purchased the wiring harness for 2010 Lexus RX 350 and installed to the plug in the back driver side however, the lights dont work when I plugged it it. I checked the 30A fuse and its still good. Do I need to do anything else to make it work? Thank you

The trailer wiring harness, # 118252, is for a 2010 Lexus RX 350 that came with a factory tow package. It sounds like your RX 350 does not have the factory tow package so you would need to use trailer wiring harness # 118478.

If your vehicle is supposed to have the factory tow package (have the dealer run the VIN to determine if it does or does not have the tow package) then the missing components to make it active could be obtained through a dealer.
