How to Make the Underhood Connections to Install a Brake Controller in a 2011 GMC Sierra
Question:
watched your install video-. the small terminal on the wire near the fender well only fits the small stud , while the wire you pull from under the master cylinder is large eyelet , which attaches only to the large lug-engine side-direct opposite the images I see . the fuses are in place already. the larger stud- 30 amp-the smaller stud - 40 amp. in your pix. the fender well wire attaches to the large lug and the wire near the master cylinder is on the smaller lug

The wiring connections that are made in the install video you referenced are correct. The wire you find between the fender and the power distribution box goes to the terminal on the left and then the wire you find near the brake master cylinder goes on the right terminal and attaches with a nut like part # 185916.
