Where is the Brake Controller Install Port on a 2014 Ford F150
Question:
2014 stx f-150. I think I have found the plug in under the dash for my controller but after cutting the electrical tape to release it I see that it is plugged into something. There is no factory controller on this truck and I cannot find another plug in this area. Must I remove some of the dash to just plugin my controller?

This adapter # 22292 plugs into the built-in connector beneath your vehicle's dashboard. To access this connector, first locate the instrument cluster finish panel in the center of you dash, near the driver's side. Carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. Plug the adaptor into the mating connector in the large gray housing behind the panel. See the picture I attached.
I also attached an install video for this product for you to check out as well.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
