What is the Distance from the Hitch to the Top of the Ball When Using Weight Distribution RP66540
Question:
With the included shank, what is the distance from the top of the receiver opening in the hitch to the top of the hitch ball. Assume an A-90 hitch ball and the shank is providing the maximum rise. Im trying to determine whether or not I can use the included shank with my vehicle and trailer. Thanks,

Reese part # RP54970 is the shank that is included in the weight distribution kit. If you flip the shank over, you will get as much as a 6 inch rise. That is 6 inches from the top of the receiver opening to the top of the WD head where the ball mounts. Hitch ball part # A-90 is a 2 inch diameter ball with about a 1 inch tall base, for a total of 3 inches from the base shoulder that rests on the WD head to the top of the ball. In total, from the top of the A-90 ball to the top of the receiver opening on the hitch, you would have about 9 inches.
