Troubleshooting a Single Trailer Tire on a Tandem Axle Trailer that Wears Quickly
Question:
Hi Recently we have gone through 2 tires in 2500 miles. Same tire, same issue. Excessive tread ware on the back tire, driver side. of a travel trailer that is dual axle This is a new issue. Thank you!

Most likely the problem is either trailer suspension related, or the trailer is in need of an alignment. I would check the suspension first to see if anything looks visibly worn or broken and replace as necessary. If nothing looks out of place I would take the trailer to a shop that can do alignments on tandem axle trailers and have them check the alignment.
